It is slightly off topic, but seriously, no need for such hostility.

We forgive Mynok. She missed her hand-job this morning. Poor baby.

You have been on my green button list for ages jerk, but just out of curiosity I read this one. LMAO!

Wouldnt you rather play a game of World in Flames?

Have I broken a forum rule? I dont believe so. It would benefit WitP players to devote time to World in Flames since the Pacific Theatre is so well developed there. Not a good idea for People such as Mynok to make this so personal. One couild get the boot with such a malignant attitude.

Got nothing to do with truth. It's got to do with you epitomizing what you call out.

Plenty of off topic threads in this forum. Slakk's been a Matrix dweller a long time and this thread is typical. Use that green button you're so proud of.

Well I appreciate the interest most of you have shown here. There are a number of areas where WitP & WiF intersect and you will enjoy it the more you learn about it so thanks for coming. [:D]

After reading in this thread about World in flames, i went to the store just by curiosity and found the boardgame used for sale at 45$, almost like a new, and the counters were still attached together like sheets, 1400 counters, wow! I could not resist... Like WITP the manual is big, i'm overwhelmed again and i'd say i'm glad Slaak shared this. I might register to Vassal too. Thanks

Tatoune, from what you posted I guess you have none of the expansions. If not I would recommend you also get Ships in Flames (every individual WWII ship down to heavy cruiser size) and Planes in Flames as a minimum. If that is not enough counters, there are further expansions inc Cruisers In Flames, Mech In Flames, Convoy In Flames, Asia In Flames and Africa In Flames, Carrier Planes In Flames and America In Flames. Have fun.

Europa is fantastic and I have most of the collection (except Scorched Earth, damned ebay snipers! Grrrr! [:@] ) but Wif is a highly integrated and politically sophisticated variant of the war that works even better and retains moere options and possibilities that continue to evolve. What we really need is a dedicated facility to keep multiple campaigns running with a dedicated staff full time. Anyone have a spare million Euro's burning a hole in their pocket? [:D]

I played WiF. I have it downstairs with the rest of my stuff. I repeat, always thought it was a bit of a joke myself.

Praytell why? Its game mechanics are state of the art. Is it the space requirement to run the boardgame that raises your dismay? [:'(]
