You guys are funny.  Wanting to play a lo-def game on a hi-def screen.
Anyway, the resolution of these big TV's are the same as modern monitors so you will not be able to see more than a regular monitor.  Everything is just bigger.  But will be easy on the eyes of some old timers.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! [:D]

On the big screen, I can see 1920 x 1080 worth of the map, and still actually read what is on the map.

With the Black Friday deals out there, some of these TVs in the 30-45" range are very affordable. Mount it on the wall in front of a desk and you have a great big game screen and plenty of desk space for all the notebooks, binders and scratch paper....

Does anyone know the biggest setting the programe will support? I use 1920 x 1200 on my iMac in full screen mode, but can it support even bigger screen resolutions than that?

Hi

Here is a picture from a 2560x1440 resolution. So this is working as well.

On a big tv WITP AE and WITE look great, everything is clear. The games look better on the big tv.

If you worry about wattage being consumed check the power saving setting, most modern tvs have a power saving setting.

Other games such as shooters are not so great. Better played on a 24" monitor.

Well, you must be viewing it on a 17" non-wide screen :P :D

Seriously, in 27" Ultrasharp it looks awesome, I'll post a real size pic if you want, instead of the reduced version.

It's just great to see almost 1/4th of the width of the map.
