Tatoune,
After reading in this thread about World in flames, i went to the store just by curiosity and found the boardgame used for sale at 45$, almost like a new, and the counters were still attached together like sheets, 1400 counters, wow! I could not resist... Like WITP the manual is big, i'm overwhelmed again and i'd say i'm glad Slaak shared this. I might register to Vassal too. Thanks

I would recommend you also get Ships in Flames (every individual WWII ship down to heavy cruiser size) and Planes in Flames as a minimum. If that is not enough counters, there are further expansions inc Cruisers In Flames, Mech In Flames, Convoy In Flames, Asia In Flames and Africa In Flames, Carrier Planes In Flames and America In Flames. Have fun.

Also add Food in Flames, Leaders in Flames & Factories in Flames to that glorious list. I recommend using only 1 leader per side from LiF though. Otherwise it seems like WWII on steroids. [:D]

Looking at some of the game results I would rather play Playstation Civ. 2 cents.

So what grand scale WWII scenarios will you learn besides Civ? WiF is state of the art. You might enjoy it.
