SVC has been using the double-edged sword of bombarding my troops. The usual bombardments. xAKL Proteus has left Normanton with a cargo of 1,167 tons of general supplies (dehydrated ammo, building supplies, food, etc.) for Darwin. The hope is that a lone small vessel can get in and out unnoticed.

I stupidly over stacked Kalemyo, just across the Burmese border from India. One unit is moving back up the trail as fast as it can until other units can finish moving into the jungle. If noticed perhaps this movement will provide some deception.

An interesting situation has developed around Liuchow in China. Look at the map below and see that the only pathway for supplies to the Empire's troops investing Liuchow is to the east. There was an Imperial unit there, but it just finished moving into Liuchow. Although he has superiority of force there for the moment - IJ: 1,324 AV versus Allied: 1,039 AV - there is another Chinese unit of 229 AV traveling with ETA two days. Two other Chinese units with combined AV of 581 are now beginning to fast march from Kweilin to the woods-rough hex just east of Liuchow, intent on blocking the Empire's supply line.

Notice the hex just west of Liuchow. The Chinese and Japanese units both just arrived there, so neither has control of any hex sides. The IJA unit is now heading NE, apparently intent on cutting the rail line from Tuyun to Liuchow. That will impede the flow of supply to Liuchow, but the IJA unit will then be itself be totally cut off from supply. The identity of that unit is unknown, but the units investing Liuchow are:

We're shuffling forces to provide some extra defense to Ichang against the enemy slogging through the forest. As a result we just got hit with a partisan attack in Changteh, which I had overlooked. Those are the troops making an orderly withdrawal south of Kweilin that dealt another stiff rebuke to the Imperials. The small unit is in the mountains guarding the pass from Burma, now in enemy hands.
