One act into a three-act play at it were. Part of the eternal dance of war. Participants in a process that's been going on for as long as
there was a different tribe. As if disease, poverty, catastrophic desolation as a daily possibility, as if these aren't enough to distroy
human society there was war to cap it off. Take care of the rest as it were. No one gets a free ride....it's tough for everybody. A part of
reality we'd rather not know about all day long everyday. That's why alcohol was invented We discovered that it gave you a different
ride. Took some of the pain away for awhile. And we've been looking for escapes as long as there have been people. Just to exist has it's own kind of pain when you actually stop to figure it all out. Something having to do with Compassion and Empthy and being
good. There are some parts about truth that are better not known. Until you're ready to handle the responsibility that comes with just
knowing something that's true. If there's something about the situation that might engender pain in another, it's often up to you to
Act upon that knowledge to prevent that pain. To actually do something. Not knowing what to do is frustrating. It's trying to do some-
thing unpopular that is really hard. Your efforts are resisted and ridiculed and not even considered. At least you tried.
That kind of situation.
