This is a great game !!! I am eager to see how much Sapper will accomplish around Moscow.

Question.... why put so many German infantry (and some Pz) deep into AGS near Stalingrad since they will be out of supply for a number of turns, losing massive numbers (and probably morale) via attrition ???? A D line 20 hexes back offers just as a good buffer zone come blizzard. Also the territory will be quickly reclaimed by the Soviets.

Now if Moscow had fallen I could see that a major manpower shortage would be achieved by this strategy, but in this setting ??? Am I wrong ???

cutting soviet rail lines to prevent effective offensive in that area is useful I suppose. As you say, daft to be caught that far forward in the mud.

Germany canot win in 1941 in this game and I find new strategic plan - more strongest. I think, that only the best Soviet player can hold only Moscow and Germany be have more easy blizzard!
