Has this been addressed since I dropped out of here about 2 years ago?
Again, excellent series. I hope this game system reaches its full potential soon.

A fan.

I was a real fan of this series for some time. And I bought 2-3 versions to keep development going to get it to be all it could be. But after the release of BFTB, I kind of gave up because I felt that I could give units orders to move and too often they would sit there and run circles and not move -- often for days. I caught a lot of this behavior with screen shots, but didn't feel much was done about it. After giving orders for an assault, I literally saw units head to their FUP and then they would shift and head to FUP again and shift again and head to FUP. It was a bit exasperating.

I hate to ask this, but where do I find *the most recent* patch?

Yes, I agree it happened most often over battalion level. But the game does say that we can give orders at any level we like.

The slow movement/lockups are still there - I also stopped playing mostly because of this.

Iam always under the impression that once an issue is fixed a new one pops up

With the 264 build? If so, I'd kindly invite you to post a saved game in the Tech Support forum leading to that, taken right after you give the orders (so the AI hasn't developed the plan).
Thank you.

It still sometimes happens with the current version. Often there is an observable reason, though there are a few mystery ones. I'll post saves/recordings when I get the next one.

Although Support from Panther Games is second to none, I do have to agree with this statement.

If Dave keeps asking for beta-testers isn't because of fancy - at the moment there are four or five active beta testers, which I think it's insufficient.

I'm just awaiting access to the dev forum so there's some help coming soon (I hope [;)])
