One question - is the stability of the game being thoroughly tested? Earlier versions seldom developed fatal errors, but I have not been able to finish a game recently. Games against Orm, Ironclad and now Ivan_Grozny have been stopped in their tracks for reason/reasons unknown.

Is there any point in reporting our stopped game?

The official patch 1.4 is done and we will send it to Matrix coming Monday, than they build the installer, we get that back for some testing and if all is ok, we pass it back on and sign it off for official release.

Than it will be uploaded and servers need to be prepared and we give a go at Marketing as they already have reserved some release slots and they pick a final release date.

So it will be out pretty soon now, if all goes smooth on all departments... I hope within a week or so, depending how busy everybody is.

This will also be the base, as mentioned before, for the iPad version, so that one will hit Beta soon after.

Little by little one travels far....

No idea, the whole point of a Beta is finding bugs and we had a a few you guys helped us track, but our main goal always is stability on any official release, if we would not be sure the official patch was stable, we would not release it, but continue testing...

However, working with software and especially cross-platform is a complex process, with hundreds of thousands lines of code to cross-check... I`me pretty sure there will be something you guys will find, all we can do is support and fix asap when it happens.

But the word I get from the chained monkey-coder, whispering to me from out of his dark dungeon, is that the upcoming build and patch is the best we made so far.... and we all know... programmers never lie. LOL

Without a shadow off a doubt, when 1.40 finally gets released, it is the best the game has been to date.[;)]

I would really like to see the Android version as well. Andoid devices are becoming as much, if not more, popular than ios ones.

It is mainly containing various bug and stability fixes, based on feedback and reports we got from testers on the first 1.4 Open Beta patch dated from December last year.

P.S. added older changelog back again to first post.

Scrolling is slow and the mouse jitters. Tried turning off vsync no use. Tried lowering graphic (lower screen resolution) details no use. Any suggestions? I have i7-2820qm, 16gb ram, win 7 64bit, and egpu 650TI 2gb.

Same problem here, jittery mouse, slow Scrolling - i7-4700HQ, 8gb ram, win8.1 64bit, Geforce GT750M.

Played some 10 turns as CP in 1914 campaign, AI as "handicapped". Could as well have surrendered the same turn, as Liege still was in Allied hands, and the Eastern front a mess. Observed Russia upgrading units like crazy, Allied Forces outnumbered mine everywhere.

What about some of the bigger problems reported? E.g. The fact Bulgaria never comes into the war? The Western Allies have more build points than they know what to do with? Shore bombardment being too powerful?

This sounds like a video driver issue, your hardware is way more than enough. Did you try previous 1.4 beta patch?
