Japan rail their second marine to China. Both are rumoured to have been sent to China because of the partisan threat.
Germany had done all its land movements. The units in Poland and Belgium had moved so I was just about to end the step when I stopped in the last second. Didn't I declare war on Denmark? That I did and I was so close in ignoring them. Fortunately, the units designated to handle the Danish issue received their order and that should be that. Unfortunately the two Danish cruisers sailed to UK. But the convoy point remained.

In my current game I attacked Denmark early game with similar units, except div went to Frederikshavn... Not a good idea. Belgium or France was not in danger yet (all my other units were in Poland and Balkans) so CW had no problem bringing units on next impulse to adjanced hex and kill my div in Frederikshavn. Little later they had 2 corps and a div in both end of that damn island.
What should I do? I was busy planning attack to Netherlands and Belgium. I took 4 coprs (combat values 7 7 5 5) artillery (3) and one div. During winter it was not possible to attack. When I invaded Belgium CW took half of their force to France leaving Frederikshavn guarded with MOT (7) London MIL (5) and AA gun (2). During winter I sent my fleet to Baltic Sea getting ready to give some support. I also took one Stuka, one Dornier and one Bf109 to Denmark. I can tell you they were much needed in France (CW supported France with 5 res each turn from the start)...
First attack on M/J with all my forces were not very good, both sides lost 1 unit (CW killed MIL). I had to bring one more MIL (5) for the next turn. On M/J CW also rebased naval bomber to Denmark and sunk my 3 CP at Baltic Sea.
Finally on J/A CW troops in Denmark were killed and there were no more German losses. Denmark was pain in my a** for entire year! Luckily it did not affect too much to my game. At the end of J/A Yugoslavia and Greece were conquered. France survived but Paris +1 hex was surrounded.
Lesson learned. I will be more careful next time I attack Denmark![]()
