Do it anyway. Hetz would understand. It's something he would do himself. :D

Only a cheap shot artist goes for the CT :P

Headshots are for pros but in your case I suppose that I could make an exception.

MWAHAHAHA (or words to that effect)

I thought the pros went for the quickest way to take the opponent down? Maybe that's just me. :)

Played Dark Cobalt in the Terran map with Mediums. I got a Musketeer and he got a Lehr Magnus. The game was pretty one-sided from the beginning, I got a lot of hits in before he could hit back. We closed to the proverbial ten paces and exchanged shots. After taking out his RT, I got another lucky shot in that knocked him over. He got up once, but soon fell over again. After that, I pretty much sat back and watched him literally commit suicide by fumbling piloting checks until he scraped his CT off on the ground.

A good game for a pair of rusty fellows. :)

Dueled Dark Cobalt in the Savannah with Heavies. He got a Bombardier, I got a Sentry. Things started out bad as he got some long range missile shots in on me, but started picking up when I made it to AC12 range.
Some dodging and lucky flare use saved me from a lot of damage during my rush in, while dishing out some pain. I took a pounding when I got closer, and by the time we closed to point blank range, his DFA nearly knocked me silly. We both made it up, though, and a melee ensued. We both had more yellow and red than green on our titans when a lucky Ac20 shot tore his titan's leg off and ended the fight.

Oh yes, towards the end it was utter chaos... Kickboxing Titans. A very fun battle, indeed.

Fun and tense, both. If my last AC20 shot hadn't downed him, he would've had me - my heat was over 130 by that point.

Yes, more of that disgusting luck. 2 headshots in a row, one of them with a PG.

The second game was sad. It seemed like I was doing fine until all of a sudden my titan basically fell apart. I went from all green to red in two places in and yellow in two more in about 5 seconds.

Just smashed up Hetzer's Crumbler with an Abnegator (iirc the designs are listed earlier in this thread). Close battle, but a good shield and dcs do wonders against mesons. Now if I'd just used thrusters to get down that hill instead of trying to walk, I could have come out a little better for wear...

Managed to pull off a win against Hetz the other day - my first one since I've returned. I got lucky, got a Tentakel (All GMHs) and a nice hilltop nearby. In addition, he got a Marauder (all energy) and I had a decent shield. Even so, there was a point when he started closing that I thought I was still going to lose, despite having pounded him hard on his approach. He got some nice cover, and was picking away at my armor. Finally, one of my missile misses (Heh, I like the sound of missile misses...) cleared the forest some and I was able to take out his RT. Things ended pretty fast after that. It was a great game.

I'm thinking that hetzer's Abnegator is aptly named. Perhaps we can see how it fares against ac20's instead. :p

Dueled Cyan in assaults. My Gunslinger had his Grim Reaper for lunch. :-) He wasn't able to get past my shield effectively, while the Gunslinger's AC20s knocked big holes in his armor, then finished off his right torso. He was trying to close so he could use his saws, but I knocked out of the air and quickly amputated his right leg. That was all for him.

Manged a win against Firestorm in Heavies. We dueled in the polar map, I had a Sniper (4 AC4, 2 AC7) and he had a Disruptor (2 AC12, 2HMG...I think.). I didn't get sight of him for a long time, and by the time I did, he was close enough to negate my range advantage. We both started shooting, and as soon as the first AC12 hit me, I figured I was toast. So, I ran for the forest, pegging him when able. He turned my RL yellow before I could hide in the trees, but then my shots started hitting regularly. He closed to melee range and we slugged it out. A lucky kick knocked him down, and I was able to get in some punches and shots before he stood. Another few exchanges, and I managed to knock him down again. This time, I took his LA as a souvenir. :) In trying to get up, he ground of his own LT. He still got back up, but I shot off his LL, and when he fell, his RL took a vacation from his torso. At that point, the game was mine.

Is there an online spot where I can find an internet game of Tos?
I looked on Combat net and there wasn't anything related to ToS. Should I go there and make a ToS room to find others wanting to play this or is there some other accepted method?
