This is a 3vs3 game, I think that, if a player is unable to do a turn in time, he could ask an ally to do it until he´s able to play.

I am enjoying the game but the French have started in such a bad position that I am concerned that the game is over before it starts losing 50% of your cities with very little you can do about, is to big a advantage to give away in a 6 City game. So though I am enjoying the game as a competitive game its not that much of a challenge. If anyone agrees then we could have a restart with a more even map, if everyone disagrees then I will shut and get on with game.

This is mostly Bomburs call as he is the French. I can go either way. Japans best is probably its Navy, but very expensive to build with only 6 cities economy.

I think the map was and is a problem. My country Italy has ALL it's cities on one island making it unnecessary for me to build ships to go to war. French cities were divided onto three different island making it harder to reinforce cities in danger (and 3 of it's cities shared islands with enemy nations--if they had been friendly it would be different). As it is I would be willing to do whatever Bomburs decides as he is the one most affected.

Thanks Ironduke and sorry for the the missed turns...we were at a pause and I didn't have a way of check till the other day. And yes I feel that this might be an unfair situation - especially give Bombur's 90% win guarantee. I'd be willing to redo the map and start fresh if you all
would include me in a game. I am learning alot about this mod and the game in general from my team mates, so from a selfish standpoint, I'd still like to play with "the older boys on the block".

"A french army unlike any other in history! :)"

I take issue with above statement to defend the French[;)] a fairly rare thing for a Englishman but to be judged on one War is very unfair so they were beaten in a 6 weeks, can you tell me any army of the period who would not have been beaten. And prior to that considering there geographical location they actually have a fairly good losses and wins record, and during the Napoleonic wars my specialty I think they were at there height damn near unbeatable. Vive la France.

True, my time frame was fairly myopic - sandwiched between Battle of Agincourt and ww1 they had some spectacular moments, most notably Napoleon. But was just ribbing with some 20th century humor - and maybe giving Bombur some extra incentive to fight on! I'll send you some "fine" vodka as a peace offering.

All I know is Poland a third rate Country lasted 4 weeks against the Germans. And that when France CHOSE to surrender they were actually doing fairly well by that time against the Germans.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

Funny definition of doing well 330,000 Allied troops and their equipment surrounded and pocketed at Dunkirk the mobile armored French forces defeated and all but Broken and much of the heavy French equipment lost in the retreat to the Seigne River Line they were well beat, the argument was simple should they continue with a losing struggle, or surrender avoiding the destruction of cities and the death of tens of thousands of French soldiers and Civilians. I think they picked the right option, the speed of warfare had changed it was no longer the distance a man could march in a day, it was how far a combustion engine could move him in a day.

Nippon lost some DD's and SS's last turn (mostly to New Empires PBYs), but sank a CA and a few DD's of the Eastern Empires Navy this turn.

Also, someone forgot to change the turn number this turn. I had played turn 14 on 11/12 (check the old turn folder), so I renamed my turn 14b (played on 11/15). I didn't notice until I had already saved Italy's next turn as T14 though.

Ok replayed my last turn and placed the file in the folder. Reopened last couple of turns to make sure I hadn't mistakenly named them incorrectly so I will be up to my eyeballs in cheat warnings, I am just awful at remembering to change the turn number being the last player in the sequence.
