Italy uses 2 points to decrease CW air to air value.

Corsairs, Hellcats, Avengers, Seafires.... these are just four of the aircraft types that the Fleet Air Arm don't have.
And so instead, the brave men of the naval arm take to the skies in the venerable Stringbag - and hope against hope that their slow, ancient machines will survive the hail of flak they are about to fly into.....
Rear-gunner:I must say I feel a tad exposed in this position.....

Italy uses remaining 2 points to decrease own damage down to A.
Both CW ships are aborted.
CW bomber causes A on Italian ships. CW can also choose a target.

3rd round: Axis 6, Allied 10. Combat is over.
I have to get to bed now. It's past midnight here and I have workday tomorrow.
Good night! Tomorrow Axis will sink/abort all ships in Bay of Biscay [8D]

Axis Gents
I recall there was an issue with the peacekeepers rule. I think it was that if the peacekeepers were stacked alone then they could not be attacked. I don't know if that bug is still in force but if so presumably we can agree that any landing of peacekeepers must ensure that they are stacked with the 'home' unit?
What are you talking about? Is there a war where Axis should send peacekeepers? If there is, we are ready to defend all free and neutral nations!
And we will land units with "home" units or places you can't attack right away [8D]
All joking aside, there is clearly a possibility that the peacekeepers rule will soon be put to the test.
As far as I am aware, the bug that existed for this rule remains in place. So:
1. I will test this this afternoon to see if that is the case.
2. If it is, we need some clear rules of engagement to ensure that we don't end up creating a situation not catered for in the rules.
I will post my results shortly. Perhaps we can discuss thereafter?

Okay it looks like this may have been fixed. I am sure the problem was that if the Peacekeepers were stacked with themselves only, then the hex could not be attacked.
I just tried attacking a stack of German only units and the attack was allowed. So that is good news.

RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR
Naval combat in West Med started well and ended like a disaster for Axis.
I made 3 major mistakes during 2nd round:
1) I did not ask AllenK if he wants air to air combat or naval combat
2) I chose air to air combat (naval combat would have given both sides losses, but both could have decided how to target them).
3) I got panic when I realized Allies can place A on TRS, I should have taken 2A and increase damage to D 2A and target that D on CV.
I will learn from my mistakes.
