The bombers clears.

The RAF remains. Will Germany abort, and if so, to what hex?

German fighter aborts, this dogfight is not fair.

Plane lands back to same hex it started (with 5-3 INF).

Good night!

Not that nasty. Lousy feels more on the mark at the moment.

No Ground Strikes.

USSR rail a garrison from Murmansk to Brest-Litovsk. CW rail a territorial from Western Australia to Eastern Australia. USA rail a infantry corps from the West Coast to the East Coast.

The AT in Chihkiang moves one hex SE. The Canton militia moves one hex West. The warlord in the Kunming area moves two hexes to the SE. The Army NW of Kweilin moves SW, to the West of the city. The 5th motorized Army moves one hex SE.

The Lanchow militia moves one hex East into Tianshui.

The Army in Southern Latvia moves to one hex SW of Vilna. The Cavalry in Blagoveshchensk move one hex SE. One Army and one mountain corps in Vladivostok move one hex NW.

CW relocate three units in Egypt.

No land combats.

USSR rebase a FTR2 from Leningrad to Vitebsk. The LND4 in Novgorod to Bryansk. the LND3 in Crimea to Gomel and the LND4 in Gomel to Kursk.

CW rebase the Blenheim bomber in Morocco to Northern Spain. CW also rebase the LND3 on Malta to Egypt.

No reorganization.

Whenever there are active units around the Russian border with the Baltic States, I like saying "Wheat-a-bisk" = Vitebsk (I think is the right sounds, at least). Makes me hungry.

Then there's Novgorod, which just makes me want to play SPI's "War of the Ring" instead, in command of the Dwarfish pieces from the Lonely Mountain. Someone needs to make a game for the Wars of the Jewels, in Beleriand. Could make a nice combination event card & counters+hexes & Hero character game.

And when decisions are made about Bryansk for either side and I could pick, say, a 6 factor unit or a 7 factor unit to be involved in combat for that city, I will pick the 7 factor unit every time.

Bay of Biscay: Hungarian FTR to box 1, Italian FTR and German FTR3 to box 2.

Italian submarine to East Med box 1.

Italian ships (2x BB and 2x CA) leaves port of La Spezia. Does CW submarines want to intercept them in West Med?

Axis 4, Allied 7.

Hungarian fighter is not involved, so I don't feel lucky enough to fight with CW fighters. Boxes 4 and 1 are selected.

I missed the picture.

Axis used 2 points to increase damage up to D 3A.

CA Sussex in box 4 saved D (10 rolled). Other CA in box 1 received 3A and was aborted too.

Axis stay, how about Allies?
