Japanese Ships Sunk - Lots of ships have disappeared off this list unfortunately. Particularly the smaller carriers that I hit earlier. As you can see MrKane retains most of his naval capabilities.

To be fair to Mr. Kane, though, he's done pretty well in the air. Having parity in air loss points at this stage is pretty good for the Imperial player. Also, his VP position in general is pretty good.

Regarding his Oz mission, I skimmed over that part of the AAR so I'm not too clear. I recall one comment mentioning you were not prepared for an invasion like that, so was his withdrawal more in line with respecting your point of view or because he saw increasing risk in hanging around coupled with diminishing returns?

He quit moving on OZ because we agreed that he would stop moving on Sydney/Melborne and wiping out the Australian troops. I probably would have quit the game if he conquered Australia.

As a counter I agreed no 4EB attacks below 10,000' which had not been discussed before that.

He won auto-victory anyway so the point is really moot.

We had agreed from the beginning that AV was not going to end the game so I was not prepared for him waging war like it was a factor.

So, that is Heavy Industry...it probably means there is a lot of supply there, and Japan wants to use up the supply and fuel before you get your hands on it.

Looking at the map, it is unlikely he can ship anything out of Java.

It could easily be an oops on his part, but truthfully it is one of the things you need to watch carefully as IJ ... I would not break opsec on your part to tell him ... it isn't that big of a deal.

Once you can't ship fuel and oil out of Java, it is merely a pow camp...

FOW though is another good idea, the Allied recon always inflates it by at least 1 point...and if DL isn't that great...

It paused for a few turns but went up again last turn. Now HI is up to 7 at Soerbaja. Not enough to indicate constant repair. It could also indicate almost total supply collapse but he has hundreds of fighters on Java still so I am not buying that.

Burma has gone soft. Bombardments were getting stiff resistance up to a few days ago. Now his AV is dropping and resistance is dropping across the board. MrKane has ceded Prome and my armies are advancing.

Allied forces have recently captured singkawang, Sambas, Tawau, Kudat and Jesselton.

Forces tried to arrive at Kuching to reinforce and were destroyed. 3 large AK's of troops 100+ squads sunk. Not sure if MrKane plans on bringing in more but my main carrier force is 4 hexes west of Sambas right now so he may delay. Credit to sigint for telling me of inbound forces.

I want to explode Kudat and then move northeast into the phillipine islands. MrKane does not have a large airforce base in the phillipines that I have noted. The biggest is Clark Field at 8. Forces are landing on Luzon according to Sigint so I will not take the place without a fight.

I dont mean he is moving troops, I mean across the board the counter battery fire has ceased and I am actually doing damage to his troops rather than taking counter battery damage. A large stack has moved out of Prome after it got hit by bombers. I think it is supply related. That could change as he retreats toward China.

His potential fears of Indochina are well founded :]

The Japanese are walking out of Burma en mass. Mr Kane has ceded Toungoo, Lashio and Taun-Gyi recently and there is movement at Rangoon and further along the trail. Whether he has decided it is a strategic move due to my capture of northern Borneo or critical supply problems I do not know.

Mandano just fell. It was weakly held by 5000 or so SNLF troops in 7 units. My main focus on this vector is Cotabato. I have several good units training for it. It is very weakly held by one Japanese unit.
