SUBS: Still tracking the damaged ships from Balikpapan. Got to a transport, sinking xAK Argun Maru, but not the combat ships. Grrr. [:@]
Some of the Dutch O-subs start out with poor commanders, and it's nice to see one hit after changing them.
We also had a few opportunities against the BBs in the DEI and Soviets subs do some business between Honshu and Hokkaido, hitting three xAK!! [:)]

USSR: The night bombing at Harbin destroys 2-3 Sallys and puts some damage on the fields. Nice. The old Soviet 4Es will keep it coming.
The big move of the day was sending the 202nd para brigade to Shikuka. I didn't think the unit registering movement from Toyohara could make it in time but it did. So instead of facing a base force and taking this important spot, we are thwarted by a big brigade, even though it was in strat mode. I'll have to try and extricate the paras now. Luckily this is a base within fighter range. [;)]

DEI: The Japanese send in 3 BB to bombard Singers. Again they escape subs, mines and CD guns to put a hit on the base. So odd the CD guns are playing no part in this at all. The bombardment doesn't do as much as I'd expected though, leaving fields with 17 damage and destroying only 4 planes on the ground. Lets now see how far he has to go to replenish, and if I can interdict the paths using subs.
I anticipation of this move I sen the P-38s to Java and swept Palembang, then sent the 4Es in behind them. It helped a lot that the two A6M groups from Palembang swept Singers this turn, finding only 6 buffalo on CAP. The results of the Palembang strike were good. Another 15 hits for something like 25-30 oil points off again. In addition about 10 Nates, Tojos and A6M2 were shaved off of the CAP of Palembang, and the damaged cruisers escaped Singers.
I used an uncaptured British base on Malaya, Utan Melintang, and sent in CAP and some aviation support and supply. The CAP was a bit slow to react here and Jeff had some of the Netties flying very high, so actually ALL ~40 got torpedo runs! [X(]
Only one hit, but it sank DD Craven. Too bad, but the cruisers should make it anyway. They'll flank to beyond Sabang and make for Colombo tomorrow. On the day the CAP did get to some of the Netties after their runs, and knocked down 10 unescorted Vals plus around a dozen Sallys trying to hit an airbase on Sumatra.

PACIFIC: Trying to break out with some Soviet DDs into the Pacific. We'll see if they make it tomorrow.

CHINA: Got some hits on Canton HI, which is good. I'll take tomorrow off and recon the base to see what he does there.
