Happily, when Severodvinsk reaches her new patrol she easily regains contact, and immediately clasifies it as a nuclear attack sub.

Some minutes work further clasifies the contact as the SSN-23 USS Jimmy Carter, third and last of the American Seawolf class.



As you know, Jimmy Carter was modified with an extra middle part for the deployment of special forces teams. What is she doing here?

The position of the ATGU. Suspicious. Needless to say, Severodvinsk will shadow her from now on. You can see that, even crossing Severodvinsk's path at 3 nm, Jimmy Carter doesn't show any sign that she has detected Russia's newest attack sub. Good news.

Belgorod is working on her last assignment, while Severodvinsk is still trailing Jimmy Carter, who is happily making holes in the water around the ATGU reactor at 20 knots.
