And the repair pool, full of high quality Italian ships. Well, that's better than to lose more Italian cruisers...

The collapse of the French army and the resulting political mayhem, resulted in the instatement of Marshall Petain as the new leader of France.

In a certain train wagon a peace treaty was signed between France and Germany, ending the bloodshed.

However, French commanders and governors in French Equatorial Africa and New Caledonia, together with the French army in the Italian controlled Egyptian-Sudan decide to rebel against Marshall Petain.

Now that Lybia has been conquered by the CW, Mussolini orders the evacution of Balbo out of Egypt. However, this becames a debacle, resulting in the loss of the loaded TRS. Only the AT guns reach port.

In Northern China, Mao saves himself for the second time. He retreats into the desert and keeps praying for bad weather:

And a howl of dismay sounds in the offices of the Imperial High Command in Tokyo, because the turn also ends on the first possible moment... 10% chance, a 1 is rolled. The Gods did again save Mao...

November december sees Europe in a sort of phoney war. On the mainland, the Wehrmacht marches to the east. In the Med, the Commonwealth eliminates the remaining pocket of Italians in Egypt. In the Atlantic, Italian SUB's are eliminated by CW ships...

In China, another stroke of bad luck for the Japanese. The movement of the armies in the Northern temperate zone is hampered by rain, rain and more rain...

And more rain, which means that Kunming stays Chinese this turn. There was a 70% chance to get either snow or fine weather in the Northern Temperate zone, which would cause the fall of the city. However, Chiang is in a very bad position...

Northern China:

One can conclude that if the Japanese did got one impulse of either show or fine weather during this turn, the Chinese would have been in a very, very bad positions. Unfortunately, the weather rolls were a consistent "4" for the whole turn. One can imagine the effect this has had on Japanese morale....
