Now that the key Japanese player restriction has ended, is there any chance we'll start seeing things like situational screenshots from the game or are the enthusiastic war correspondents and the hard-working editorial staff from the Brisbane Evening Star to continue as the only public source on the action?
Tks for asking, Buck. It was my intention NOT not to use the AAR the way we often see, with long lists of reports and details
from various small and big skirmishes but rather give a picture of the general development of the war as such. Also incidentally
to sneak in the (political and military) background for the concept of the project. As you know the media can also be used for
desinformatsia and maskirovka..[;)]..The reader who can read a little between the lines shall benefit from this.
I had hoped that my opponent would do something similar from his side but he informed me from the start that he didn't have
time for that and I am only happy that he has at all taken the trouble to participate in the project. So far, he has been
very loyal to our original agreement on the way the progress should be handled but now he is "on its own" and the way he
proceeds shall of course mean a lot to how the end result is perceived. He is also a much more experienced player than me
which should, to some extent, mirror the difference of the two opponents. Hopefully, the larger resources of the US side
shall compensate for this in time.
That said, I suppose there shall be more details as the reporters and news desk get the hang of it. But, as yu know,
reporters shall always be reporters.
