Kummamoto is under siege!
Troops land so incredibly undisturbed it feels too easy. I know the next turn could be quite different. I somehow surprised Lowpe with this move and no meaningful escorted air strikes from LBA or KB arrived, the IJN went the wrong way, and ground troops are minimal. There was no auto-bombardment, but there are only ~8k troop here, so it's very likely the Allies will take the base next turn.
The incredibly low disruption and fatigue along with the huge number of almost complete units are astounding for this time of game. These were landed primarily with AP/AK, no AGCs with amphibious Force HQs, no LSD/LST/LCI. I'm shocked.
