I have to admit, the limited EU Rome Collector's Edition is tempting even though I doubt it would be all that great until patched-  I don't hold it so much against Paradox on this issue since their games are so huge that problems are inevitable, and their support for their games is top notch (they're still patching EU2, or recently did, IIRC).  What I wouldn't give for my old EU 2 world map poster again, it was left behind when I moved :(  I love that game.

Well...

I never thought I would say this... but...

World in Flames.

One can't help but be impressed with the way Shannon V. OKeets has run this project. From the monthly updates to what appears to be a very thorough tutorial, this monster game, which scares the heck out of a person like me (non-board game player), now seems to be accessible to grognard and newbie alike.

Wow... never thought I would even consider this game...

Be careful what you wish for. This, indeed is a monster game, and except for ASL, it is probably the most complex wargame out there. That's why it has taken so many years to get this thing done. But I can I promise you this: if it is anything at all like the boardgame, you're in for a real treat.
They just recently completed Australian Design group(ADP)'s other massive game in Empires In Arms, so it's full bore for this one now and there is nothing anymore to stop it from happening.

Well...

I was interested in Empires in Arms too.

But when I.. sadly.. read that one really needed to be familiar with the board game it was based on... I knew it was going to be too steep a learning curve for me.

I don't mind complicated (as long as it is properly documented), but I don't do mind boggling.

unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as you. I have sen the game played by my WiF buddies, but never played it. Having seen a pretty significant amount of the game doesn't mean a thing because I did buy the game thinking I may have had just enough knowledge that I could get started, but the tutorial on it kind of sucks.
I guess WiF tutorial is supposed to be vastly upgraded from their last ADG game

2008 List

WITP Admiral's Edition
Jutland (I really hope it's better than Distant Guns).
Supremacy at Sea (looks interesting but still not sure what to make of this one, I'll wait for some reviews).
82nd Airborne (it's been on my list for 6 or 7 years now, it's had more release dates than any game I know, but it just maybe too late for this one, I think it's current release date is the day after they stop making PC's).[8|]

Crown of Glory Emperor's Edition
Maybe Puresim Baseball 2009, Civ 4 BTS, Carriers at War or Advanced Tactics too.

So many games, so little time.

Hey! I definitely think you should get professional help.

Anxiety can also be eased using apps available on the appstore. I've used tons of them. Sharing some notable ones for you.

I have tried the following for my sleep problems:
1. Headspace free & premiumHeadspace
2. Free podcasts on apple podcasts
3. CALM
4. Yoga Nidra in Down Dog
5. Evolve Meditation App

As a lot of you probably know by now, I'm really starting the have the WiF anxiety attack, and yes that is due out at the end of the year. In fact, after so many delays for several years, there is now talk of it now being pushed up by acouple of months. That game will beat all these hands down.

Not to mention something still useful twelve years after [;)]
"Yes darling, I served in the Navy for eight years. I was a cook..."
"Oh dad... so you were a God-damned cook?"

Interesting that Terminus hasn't posted since 2015, but he was logged in today.
