I manage to Kill an Armor, HQ but the last will escape to Spain. He may have lost a couple other small units, like a Para here or there..Maybe a Division, Mech or Corp... But these two feints drew off forces from Russia and Spain opening up his true desire an open Southern France where his Air and Supply has all the room it needs and a direct route into either Germany or Italy.

This is open now to the Brits/Americans... the Terrain doesn't suite either of us with breakouts... I imagine he will halt up my forces here build up for '44 or hold up forces that could be halting the Russians in their Norther and Central Sectors.

People ask me why the Allies are so OP they have 10 Armor they probably lost 3-4 to me already in the West... I can't count the Air with the Russians have more Armor than me in the East now by probably a factor of 4 to 1... This is a game on borrowed time for the Axis. In such skillful hands I will need a miracle or error which I don't feel I'm going to get for the Axis to see '44. For by then it is imaginable to see 25-30 Armor perhaps 25 Air Units? I wouldn't be shocked. Nothing I got can feasible do to stop that in my wildest dreams.

I don't got long on this Earth.(think MM was taking 2-3-4 Corp per turn at the worst of it and I can see that going on awhile) I don't think I can make it past 1943 and well to be honest it was well earned I did my best to try to decimate the Russians so they wouldn't crawl back like this but there wasn't enough damage done upon them. I know their casualties are upwards of 2000something steps(so early) in land...but I ran out of manpower first and couldn't build up for 1943(I suppose I should of built less Air Power as Axis they need more land units for 1943) Other than that my earlier errors and perhaps not getting Gibraltar and having to make Italy a Fortress really put me in a precarious position. MM kept withdrawing before he took any real large losses aside what he wanted to give to me and I couldn't fight him. I have played this game enough to know when the Russians are Flanking through the Baltic there isn't much time left before Germany is collapsing. I would fight on if it was 1944...

One of the most entertaining games I've played, What I would have done for 5 or 6 Panzers!

My personal opinion is MM was more meticulous than myself but regardless I do feel the Axis got a Nerf for 1.08 they shouldn't have...Greece/Yugo might of helped and Spain is well, just painful for her to face in early 1942.

@Battlevonwar
Both of you played well and an awesome AAR. Thank you very much for sharing. I asked Magic how many Armor units he had on the Allied side and I was wondering how many you did make. (Allies: In June-43 after the invasions the US have 7 mech/arm the British 8 and the USSR 17.) You couldn't have played it any better as you pushed the USSR to the brink and I thought they would crack. I mentioned this in the other thread that the one thing that I find is that its difficult for Germany to cover all the ports when they spread out. This allows a leap frog strategy of invasions which the Germans then have to counter removing resources from other fronts. Their minors can only help so much.

Thanks again Battlevonwar for sharing. It is greatly appreciated by many.

Hello,

Very nice AAR!

It was funny to read because I also asked myself all the time, how much oil does he have how is the manpower situation?
It was vey exciting and tense.

For your information I felt very worried in the Atlantic. You got a very good start with a lot of escorts sunk early. At the lowest point I had 172 convoys the exact number I needed I think. I built like 30 escorts and 50 (5*10) merchants so thats like 1700 production. Not sure how much you production you sunk (haha) into Subs but I think you got ahead a little bit economically but still maybe not worth it.

And my manpower as Soviets at the lowest was 51% I was very worried of that too [:)].

Thanks again for a nice game,

Congratulations to you both. A truly excellent AAR. I still haven't figured out how the Allies (UK and US) are able to build so much armour so quickly. Especially as the UK had to spend so much on escorts and MS. I obviously spend way too much on trucks. Though it does look as though perhaps the US scrapped its infantry units.

For my part I basically dont build any infantry with western allies British in 39-40 of course the US I dont build any since the British usually end up with a fair amount of infantry.
