The 1.21 UPDATE is cumulative.

If you are playing PBEM, then you might want to wait. Otherwise, should be good to go.

Yes, more than likely would be "jacked". Finish any ongoing 1.10 games as you feel the need to, but otherwise upgrade to 1.21 ASAP. Many fixes between 1.10 and 1.21, and not a few game enhancements and data tweaks.

Thx Jason and Berto..kind of a mixed message but to be safe, I'll have to finish a few multi day games I have going right now.

Via changing code in the saved game file, I make and enact changes like entrenching etc. myself plus the other hints you've provided re; scatter etc..

Also, for anyone interested, if you are willing to invest a little upfront time and effort, you can make these changes too plus add reinforcements much more freely regards locations, timing etc., adding a grand tactical feel where in you arent slaved to any initial deployments, releases etc..

The base graphics below level 5 viewing are gone, the circles are there but the national flags/emblems are gone, they are just dull green(US) or yellow(PVN/NVA) or blue(korean) etc....

There are three different base options in 1.21. (Introduced in 1.20)

3D Unit Bases
-- Alternate
-- Standard
-- Insignia

Make sure you have the right option chose for the bases you'd like.

Yes, new with 1.20.

Standard bases are flat ("coin"), Alternate are 3D-ish ("button"), with the difference most obvious at max zoom in (close up). Insignia are 3D-ish with insignia graphics.

Oh and it appears, you guys tinkered with the arty ammo supply parameters? arty running out of their base load etc. every 3 turns is probably as close to accurate, so far 2 turns in a row, I have had arty supply, great change...1 turn and no ammo was just to tight;)

What are your current artillery ammo levels?

The ammo levels will impact the likelihood of being resupplied.

In my scenarios I always gave both sides high arty levels, but didnt matter , if I fired 10 batterys, 8 would be unavailable next turn, now that is flipped....as I think it should be.

"Both"? It's a larger Dev Team effort, with other members of the Team keeping busy with different things. You can thank our graphics artist, Chris, for the improved unit bases, for example, also the dialog box backgrounds. Crossroads is busy scripting future DLCs and game updates, helps to package new releases, maintains the CSL website, etc. Scud and Big Ivan lend their hands in playtesting and publicity (and Scud helps tending to the website). Jason and I always have things to do. We all remain active one way or another. Supporting and fixing and improving these "living games" never ends.
