Question. I prefer the classic map style colors. How do I keep the same terrain colors while using your mods?

Tanaka, the mod do not change the Terrain colors.

Only Point 7 changes the cliffcolor and seacolor.

Nice mod but i'm having difficulty in extracting the mods into the bitmaps files. Is there an easier way ?

They are all included in the Mod.
You have only to delete the files for the changes you do not want in your game:

1. More western style; like teepees, log cabins, fortifying
2. Indian design with feather sticks
3. Better differentiation of the active unit when scrolling through the units
4. more intense 3D Railway
5. more intense 3D Roads
6. more intense 3D Rivers
7. more intense 3D cliffs and sea

This is my first game from the SC Games series. Because i'm interested in the american civil war.

Maybe the used PNG Files in this game are the same as in the other SC games. This is usual in such series.
In this case this mod would also work on the other SC games.

You can give this a try.

I thought that would be the case as well but when I apply your whole mod the classic map colors mod set no longer works. But when I remove just your tile sprite files the classic colors come back again.

If you turn on the alternate map set (classic) the colors should be green not light browns. If I remove your tile set files the colors go back to green.

Thanks. I posted the new maps in the first Post.
Enjoy

PS: I'm also working for a mod for the WW2 Scenario. The tiles Set is a little different to this one.
