Burma:
A RN bombardment TF paid a visit to Ramree Island, hitting the Naval Guard Unit sitting on that dot base. Not much damage is received, but it will slow down the fort building.

South Pacific:
Enemy troops land at Kusaie Island. From the disabled squads, looks like at least a full regiment if not a Division.

In 7 days, on May 1st, the Ki-84r Frank will begin full production !! This is a full 2 months earlier than expected !!

Marshall Islands:
Allied Fast Transport TF drops off some paratroopers at Taongi who capture the dot base.

No other combat happened this turn. Well its May now and the Frank r is in production. I will get the first models of aircraft next turn and production will increase as I repair factories. I have nearly 2000 Ha-45 engines stockpiled for the Frank (and other aircraft) so I am in a good position for them.

I just did the math and I will get both the B6N2a Jill and D4Y4 Judy in June. Approximately mid-June for the Judy and end of June for the Jill. My best guess at arrival for the Sam is mid July. My first night fighter (J1N1-S Irving) will arrive July 1st - which will lead to the J1N1-Sa Irving then. P1Y1 Frances has also arrived, though factories have been changed over to the P1Y2 Frances as the Y1 model has a high SR.

My Oil and Fuel reserves in Japan are increasing and are at 411 days and 267 days respectively. Resources in Japan are much harder to come by and the stockpile is only at 45 days currently.

Looks like the Marines have landed at Ponape. I was just in the process of transfer some Vals to the Marshalls to dissuade this attacks but looks like I'm a bit to late. I was also airlifting some AV support to Ponape and they ran into fighter CAP and I lost 25 Tinas :( So my guess is the amphib TF here has CVE cover - though I do not see them.

Sub Warfare:
SS Truant is spotted by one of my ASW patrols in the Straights of Malacca and attacked. Reports indicate the sub is hit with three depth charges as well as several near misses. Three hits, if accurate, should be enough to sink any sub.

South Pacific:
My 5c Zeros swept the skies over Ponape on the off chance my Nells from Tinian would actually fly the mission they were ordered. The zeros ran into F4U-1 Corsairs and took a beating and the Nells did not fly. Bad weather they said... Funny how the fighters could fly but the bombers could not ...... GGRRRRRRR.
