China:
My attack near Nanning ends in disaster as two new Chinese Corps move into the hex and I attack right into them. I didn't see any movement on the troops to the south so I did not expect them to move into the contested hex. Unfortunately they have cut me off now and I'm not sure my relief forces will make it there in time to free my troops.

Mine Warfare:
I will start this off by saying that apparently AMcs on patrol do NOT sweep mines...
One of my TK TFs hauling fuel from Palembang ran through a sub-laid minefield decimating the entire TF. All seven ships hit a mine and all but the escorts sunk.
Then one of my PB ASW TF patrolled through the hex hitting a mine and one of the PBs sinking as well.
TF 294 encounters mine field at 49,90
Japanese Ships
DD Arashi, Mine hits 1, heavy damage
DD Nowaki, Mine hits 1, on fire, heavy damage
TK Amato Maru, Mine hits 1, heavy fires, heavy damage
TK Kyoie Maru, Mine hits 1, heavy fires
TK San Diego Maru, Mine hits 1, heavy fires, heavy damage
TK Kiyo Maru, Mine hits 1, heavy fires, heavy damage
TK Eiyo Maru, Mine hits 1, heavy fires
I have a patrol of AMcs patrolling this hex and Palembang to completely prevent this sort of thing from happening.
The turn started off with this really making me mad - there was no other combat in the turn to soothe my anger.

I also just got 3 new CVLs this turn in Tokyo. They will move to Nagasaki for their refits and then be ready for combat use. In 28 days I will get 3 new Mogami-class CAs as well !!
