In the North relative quiet, made some small gains against The Lake Ladoga defenders, destroyed the trapped Tank Corps, but The Soviets have put a solid defence line which will take some time to break.
Gen kempf's Armee may have better luck as there is not a continuous line of defenders facing him.
16th Armee once again remains static awaiting 9th Armee to begin offensive operations.

With situation around Kursk Improving for Axis Forces and the fighting withdrawal by 2nd Hungarian Army successfully enabling The Ostheer to form two lines of defence centred around The Oskol and Donets rivers to guard against a push by enemy forces towards Belgorod, which will prevent any attack at the rear of the defenders at Kursk.
Instead Red Army Units push towards Kharkov, as the armoured spearheads push through the gap they soon run into trouble as our forces cutoff the advancing enemy blunting there drive.
While this is taking place Axis forces maintain a defensive posture along The Don and Manych Rivers, Soviet Forces seemingly reluctant to make any attacks against the fortified positions.

The situation in the Central Caucasus is the reverse as both 1st Pz Armee and 17th Armee launch a major offensive against the enemy trapping 8 Soviet units in a classic pincer movement,The Red Army is taken completely by surprise and with little to no reserves, escape for these units seems unlikely.
On The Black Sea the situation remains the same and a number of enemy units are cutoff in coastal towns, here to the enemy has little in the way reserves to rescue there trapped comrades

Stats Report: Supply / Production And OB
The supply situation for both ground and air units is starting to bite hard, trying to get the rail lines repair as fast as I can for the troops at the front.
Production is still OK and the truck repair numbers are still be 90 thousand which is good, still getting a steady flow Soviet defectors joining the Axis cause another good sign.
The Soviet OOB is still a daunting site, just have to keep moving forward waiting for the right time to launch attacks and whittle there numbers down.

While its quiet on the ground the Allied Desert Air Force does its best to impede PanzerArmee Afrka's withdrawal from Libya.
In Tunisia the bombing campaign against The Axis is somewhat subdued as the weather curtails much of the attacks but still the enemy reminds us its still flying.

With 9th Armee working in conjunction with Army Group North on the Kalinin operation, 3rd Pz Armee supported by 4th Armee launch there own offensive against Red Army units in The Tula region, more enemy units are cutoff as The Panzer's push towards Kaluga first, this throws the enemy in a state of panic as apart from a huge Guards Inf Corps plus a regular army unit defending the city most enemy troops are digging in there positions in front of Soviet Capital.
While the battle unfolds at Moscow and Kaluga heavy fighting continues at Orel and Kursk, here The Soviets have massed a huge concentration of there forces in a effort to break through and recapture these cities.
At Orel 2nd Pz Armee counterattacks pushing back the enemy but at Kursk Guards units push forward forcing back parts of 2nd Armee and cutting the Orel to Kursk rail line.
The Luftwaffe launches several air assaults to try to disrupt enemy lines of communication and slow the enemy advance.
Luftwaffe pilots receiving orders for there mission in the Kursk operation.

Here to in the Kharkov region the enemy continues to try to push forward, Voroshilovgrad is threatened, a important industrial centre, despite the heavy assaults against our lines, the troops hold and 2nd Hungarian Army launches a counterattack and cuts the Soviet spearhead in two places.
The mud season has finally hit in and around the Rostov area forcing both sides to curtail any offensive operations.

Mud and rain hits The Central Caucasus and our offensive here is stopped as the enemy makes some attempts to break out of the encirclement's but fails, the pockets hold and some enemy units are destroyed.
Still quiet on The Black Sea Front as both sides focus on defence as neither has the forces to make any real impact against each other in this kind of terrain.

Our manpower forces on the Eastern Front sits at just over 3 million and our AFV's that are operational sits below 18 hundred which is of concern.
Production levels in all spheres of industry continue to rise and our truck repair level is still under 90 thousand.
The mud season is almost upon us which is what I have been hoping for to slow the enemy offensives in the South and give me time to rebuild my Armies.

As Axis Forces travel along the coast road heading towards Southern Tunisia and The Mareth Line reports reach Rommel that a number of Inf Units are having trouble keeping up with the main force, Commanders report despite there best efforts these Inf units will be overtaken by 8th Army's fast moving mobile units.
Tough decisions must be made, if the main group of PanzerArmee Afrika turns back to support the stragglers the entire Armee could be surrounded and destroyed.
Rommel decides that they should be used to slow down the advance of Montgomery's forces.
As the mechanzied units pass Tripoli and are insight of the Tunisian border, this will be the first time since the withdrawal from El Alamein in Nov 1942 that PanzerArmee Africa will fight as a single force.
