XXXX Pz Korps ( Schweppenburg ) supported by VI Korps ( Balck ) destroy the trapped troops, part of XXXX Pz Korps moves to support III Pz Korps ( Breith ) preparing to attack the encircled enemy troops while other elements of the Pz Korps push on towards Grozny, reports coming into 1st Pz Armee HQ indicate that the Panzer spearheads are just 20 miles from the oil producing centre of Mozdok.
However disturbing new Intel is received by Kleist, Aerial Recon has detected Guards units moving South towards Budenovsk, this Army appears to be trying to reinforce what's left of the 46th Army, while this could make things difficult the news of Guards Units being sent here signals the desperate situation the Soviet High Command is facing, 8th Guards Army was part of the main force attacking at Voroshilovgrad.
Intel also tells that again the enemy is pulling more troops desperately needed in other areas of the front to The Caucasus, more Inf units have been spotted digging defensive positions around Grozny where the remains of 39th Army has fallen back to, this is good news as it weakens the enemy in other vital areas.
The situation on The Black Sea has become worse as it seems The Soviets have virtually capitulated here and have withdrawn almost all of there remaining forces leaving the way open to capture the Black Sea coastline and moving inland to advance towards Tbilisi.

Another week of incredible high losses for the enemy, with our own forces suffering relatively small losses due to Superior leadership and battlefield tactics.
Despite the heavy losses the enemy continues to maintain superior numbers in regards to men and materiel due to the Western Allies lend lease and there factories undamaged due to the fact our air force cannot reach these targets.
Our own production is still quiet healthy despite the constant bombing of our factories by the Western Allies.
For the most part our supply situation remains good.

Again the main brunt of the fighting is here as both sides attack and counterattack, despite this Rommel is able to start to get parts of his armour out of the line and moving towards the Axis embarkation ports for transit back to the European mainland.
The plan is to evacuate forces from four main ports, in the North Bizerte and Tunis and in the Centre and South Sousse and Sfax, its expected 4 more convoys will arrive within the next few days.

With the weather clearing in the Leningrad region 18th Armee begins to make a push forward towards Tikhvin, Volkhov and Novaya Ladoga despite the strong presence of enemy troops heavily fortified in the area.
Leningrad itself remains isolated along with Oranienbaum while Osinovets is barely supplied from ferries and small ships across The Ladoga lake.
South of the Leningrad sector units from 18th Armee and Kempf's units have made contact with Soviet Armour and Infantry from 1st Tank and 2nd Guards Army's, Kempf's forces once again try for a flanking movement to force back or encircle the enemy.
On the 16th and 9th Armee's front the bulk of the enemy's trapped troops are destroyed, only the defenders at Kalinin hold out, 9th Armee pushes towards Konokavo , Klin and Borovichi an important resource centre, despite clear conditions fighting through the heavy wooded and forrest terrain is tough going for The Ostheer.

AS Operation Zitadelle continues into its second week FM Reinhardt's 3rd Pz Armee pushes forward to Borodina, at Medyn 2 Soviets Inf Corps are trapped as the Panzer's reach the West bank of The Nara river, Maloyaroslavets is capture with an intact bridge.
North of this battle area Gen Brandenberger's 9th Armee advances with little opposition trapping an enemy Inf Corps that failed to retreat across The Lama River, German forces are now only 60 miles from the Soviet Capital.
On the Southern flank 2nd Pz Armee destroys the 2 Artillery units and the Guards Tank Corps, then turns North to link up with 4th Armee at Kaluga closing the trap on 12 Red Army units, 49th, 4th Shock and 10th Guards Armies ( Western Front ) are effectively destroyed opening the way to capture Tula.
At Kursk the enemy is facing another disaster as 2nd Armee and parts of 2nd Pz Armee encircle 4 more Red Army Units, Soviet reinforcements rush to Voronezh and try to form a defence line.

South of the Kursk battle the Soviets throw whatever forces they can find and attack the Hungarian positions in front of Belgorod, 3 Tank Corps supported by Guards inf which appear to be new formations along with various Inf units from the remains of shattered Armies from the Southwestern Front.
After there initial push on Voroshilovgrad was halted then forced back by XXXXVIII Pz Korps the Southern Front regroups its forces and attacks again however the timely arrival of German reinforcements to the area once again halts any Soviet breakthrough.
6th Armee continues with its limited offensive destroying the units trapped against Manych Lake and also encircles one of the newly arrived Guards units with support of 1st Pz Armee, apart from XXXXVIII Pz Korps actions, Hoth ( 4th Pz Armee ) has been content to let 4th Pz Armee remain on the defensive dug in behind The Don and Sal rivers.
With situation very favourable along the Black Sea Front, Paulus has requested all 17th Armee units covering 6th Armee'e flank be reassigned to his Command giving him a more operational and tactical control on his front lines.

The Situation on the Soviet side seems confused, units that were digging at Grozny have now pushed forward, advancing but with a lack of cohesion and discipline, this allows our mobile forces to out flank and encircle them.It appears that there is almost a total break down of Soviet " Command, Control and Communication " doctrine allowing us to destroy there forces piecemeal.
XXXX Pz Korps pushes forward towards Mozok while the battle along the Kuma River intensifies with III Pz Korps cutting off a Tank Corps as well a Guards Inf Corps.
On the Black Sea with the enemy trapped at Sochi and with no likelihood of rescue, the defenders are given an ultimatum, surrender or die, they refuse. while the siege of the port continues 4th Gebirgs-Division pushes East capturing Senaki while a Cav Regiment captures the key port of Poti.
Intel reports indicate Stalin has reissued Order 227, as prisoners from the 8th rifle division captured in the fighting and being interviewed by intelligence officers speak of there field Commanders ordering that any troops retreating from battle would be shot. This seems to confirm the disjointed and disorganised nature of the Soviet actions in the Grozny defence.

Once again the Red Air Force suffers heavy losses in there effort to defeat our Air Force. Our fighters decimate there bomber fleet.
There ground forces also suffer the same fate as poor leadership by there Commanders in the field only hastens the destruction of there combat units, we did not ourselves get off that lightly with higher losses with AFV's.
Reports coming in from a forward troops advancing through combat areas as well as intercepted radio communication traffic indicate that no less than 4 enemy Army Commanders have been killed in this weeks fighting.

Gabra Defence Line
As Montgomery assaults The Mareth Line Rommel orders a pull back to the newly formed Gabra Line, this shortens the defence line giving PanzerArmee Afrika more breathing space and time for more withdrawals to Sfax port.
The lightning Axis withdrawal takes 8th Army completely by surprise, things are not all good as the 1st Luftwaffe Jager brigade and the 80th La Spezia Airlanding Division surrender.
The withdrawal continues with elements of the 21st Panzer ,164th Light Mot Division and the Ital 136th GGFF Mot Divisions being gradually pulled out of the line, the Ital XX Mot and XXI Inf Corps plus some attached German Mech units will cover the withdrawal.
As a convoy leaves Sfax port and heads along the coast toward Sicily The Italian Cruiser Gorizia comes under naval attack from the British Royal Navy.

The 10th Panzer, 90th Light Mot, 334th Infantry, 1st Superga Infantry, and 101st Trieste Infantry Divisions make there way to Tunis to leave.
The remaining units from the Ital XX Corps and The German Weber Korps (999th Light Afrika Division ) to cover the withdrawal.

Both sides suffering heavy losses as both navies fight to take control of the sea lanes.
