Should I continue this game so I can clear out the Japanese completely off of the map? I mean, by wiping out the Japanese young men, that would mean that those geishas and other lovely young ladies might have to look to the Allies for companionship . . .
Or should the Allies accept peace terms from Japan and send the units from the Pacific to the ETO? I mean, the Indian Army can go to the Med while the other Allied forces can go to the UK, entertaining the ladies while preparing for invading France in the spring of 1943! This way, the western Allies along with Chinese forces can then liberate Poland.

I just captured Nanking. That might stop the CEA from planning for New Zealand. I would bring in aviation support units along with AA units along with supplies to Hong Kong, send the units to the Shanghai/Nanking area and use the airfields that are connected by railroads for my bombing campaign. I would bomb the armament factories, vehicle factories, airplane factories, and the engine factories in Manchukuo, Korea, and Japan as well as bomb the resources in Japan. This way the enemy air would be even more reduced, any units might have difficulty getting weapons and vehicles. Japan has virtually no oil stocks and should be low on fuel as well.

Been there - doing that - here's my large Strategic Map. Note that the display of Enemy Units and Bases is ON. What the Japanese have left are unoccupied dot bases at Satawal Island and Lao Cai (N or Hanoi). The latter has an allied unit about to cross into the hex and take it. There is one Japanese Tank Division left with next to 0 AV left and it is just trapped at Kweisui with 2278 AV of allied units and over 7000 guns. My money is on the Allies.
All those horizontal lines of dots going to Prince Rupert, Vancouver/Seattle, SFO, San Diego, and Cape Town are a "Magic Carpet" operation to get aircraft, ships and troops to the UK. Most of the units that have engineers are still in Japan building the bases to maximize VPs (100 for each AF level 50 for each Port level); so mostly artillery, AAA, and light infantry units so far on their way to UK. A few tank units with minimal engineers too, but most are needed for the garrison AV in Japan.
What's the point? I like to imagine Churchill receiving these diverse units and deciding where to allocate them - e.g., BC Repulse has weak AA so instead of the Med, Churchill places her in Scapa Flow to guard against the breakout of Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, German CAs or the Pocket Battleships. Repulse will not be sent to intercept Tirpitz! OTOH, the Atlanta Class CLAAs will be much coveted to help guard the Mediterranean convoys to Malta. And the Coastal Artillery Regiments and Marine Defence Battalions will be spotted at remote spots around the UK to guard against German commando-style raids.

I bought back 200 Japanese units. There is less than 1 million in fuel for the Empire, less than 10k in oil, less than 1k each of Armaments and Vehicles. I do have saves for before and after the buying if someone wants to look at them, ask and you might receive them.
The IJN has only 5 or so CVs and CVLs . . .
The POW did good work on the carriers and an R class sank the Shokaku . . .
This was a bloody turn but not the worst . . .

The Yamato, Kongo, and friends came back. Some of the aircraft visited Port Moresby but I don't understand why some of the Vals dropped bombs at 10k feet.

That was a very small strike from two big carriers - did you already decimate their air groups? That might explain the Vals bombing from 10K - morale issues.

I have been defensively shooting down his aircraft but I don't think that there are any large aircraft carriers left other than a damaged Zuikaku. Even reducing the kills by 30% still means a lot of destroyed aircraft. AA units have also done a lot of work for me. An R class sunk the Shokaku, POW sank a few carriers, LBA did a bunch of damage but the Hiryu and Akagi were sunk the next turn. No real offensivie air actions but I have escorted convoys to Manila and Hong Kong.
