When I was working we had an Ergonomist (ergonomics expert) give us info on posture and support for people working on computers all day. To prevent carpal tunnel syndrome (in the wrist) he told us the forearm and elbow should be supported at the same level as the mouse. It's the bent wrist that is hardest on the nerves running between the bones. You still get some issues from side to side movement but nothing like carpal tunnel injury.CaptBeefheart wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:53 am Ironman is a great stress reliever. I have a recently developed a right wrist problem, though, and that might be from this game and all its clicks. I don't think it's from the other thing people say your wrist might get used for.![]()
I managed to land at Kurume in July 1945 and I'll either stop there or take a long break. Speaking of too many clicks, I don't fancy playing the Sovs.

Can you say the reason?
Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!
If you are asking me, I was just asked to play the beta version to find errors. I did find over 40 by the time that I quit counting, Yaab found others as well.

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!
I heeded the RangerJoe's advice and just dropped 1128b exe into my 1126 campaign to enjoy the beta's goodies. Sweetens the wait for the perfect 1128 build and its bug-free map.

No game this complex is ever being perfect.
It is still damn good.

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!
Are the devs still working on it, fixing the bugs? Will there be a new version (fixed/final) released? Or is v1128 beta the end?

If they have to keep answering questions about when it will be finished, they may never get to finish the final Matrix beta testing.Neil Hilton wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 11:33 am Are the devs still working on it, fixing the bugs? But ask them frequently if you want to harass them or else go back and see what has been announced.

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!
Hello everyone,
I've been playing this latest version for a few months, and I don't know if any players have noticed a bug on the Japanese side with Japanese "mine hunters" (DMS or others), which often step on mines, even though their primary purpose is to neutralize them!
In older versions, this wasn't the case; these ships did the job.

I think you might have been lucky when you were playing the old version. I play the Allies, and the 'old' .1126 version and my minesweepers of all types sometimes hit mines while sweeping. That is usually at the start of sweeping an undiscovered minefield - no detection level on it as evidenced by the lack of a mine symbol on the port. That said, it is possible to hit mines after being aware of the minefield too. This reflects the reality that minesweeping was always a dangerous job and hitting mines was just part of the risk.cirrius06 wrote: Mon Apr 28, 2025 7:54 pm Hello everyone,

Thanks for your reply, BBfanboy, but I knew there were mines; the little asterisk indicated it. That's why I placed two DWS in my landing force, and not only were my two "Mine Hunters" sunk by mines, but three escorts from the bombing squadron (at 10,000 meters) were also sunk!I think you might have been lucky when you were playing the old version. For minesweeping, those ships work better in dedicated minesweeping task forces which will be hit hard by CD guns.

Yes, of course, I can wait a day before "bombarding," but at night my "DMS" are at the mercy of the CDs...Keep your bombardment task forces a little father out.

Maybe have the bombardment TFs come in first, then the ASW TFs converting to minesweeping TFs just before the invasion, then the invasion TF.cirrius06 wrote: Wed Apr 30, 2025 5:17 pm Wrote by RangerJo;Yes, of course, I can wait a day before "bombarding," but at night my "DMS" are at the mercy of the CDs...Keep your bombardment task forces a little father out.
