Can these forts be added please this is a huge oversight and one of the largest naval battles of the Civil War? And the reason Mobile stayed in Confederate hands for so long compared to New Orleans. The Confederacy could use the help!

Thank you sir! Could the Developer offer any input on why these were left out? Or if possible to put in?

There's already three forts covering Mobile Bay, plus some fortification hexes. Any more seems excessive.

Ah I figured there were other reasons certain historical forts were not in the game like these forts or Fort Sumter for example that the AI could not handle or something. So that you had to place forts a certain way...

Right then it would seem to make more sense to remove the fort in the city of Mobile as I am not sure there was a fort there? Then you are adding less forts. Trying to do this in the editor but cannot figure it out as it will not let you place forts in those spots got any tips on doing so?

Both of the hexes you highlighted in the screenshot at the top of the hex are sea hexes. If you change them to land hexes forts could be placed there in the editor.

A few more questions what are the white dots in the corner of the fort unit? When I added new forts they were missing these dots? Also how do you adjust the supply as the new Fort Gaines on the island has 0 supply? I'm assuming you put a resource town but when I place a town the supply is still 0?

White dots are from sleep mode, if you're on edit units mode then you can select a fort, right click it and set it to sleep.
For supply, you'll need to add a town, it'll go to 3 once you save the campaign. If you make it a supply centre this can be 5.

Well one thing leads to another question. Where I put the new Fort Gaines leads to a script issue that the hex must be sea or coastal how would I fix this? Also I moved the blockade runner hex down one hex away from the new Fort Morgan and now it shows up at game start instead of an event I am guessing? Is there a way to just move the original blockade runner hex so the event trigger stays? Would also like to add a blockade runner hex to Galveston this way...

Map changes will often require changing the hexes referenced in scripts until no more error messages like that one appear.

Right so I looked at the fleets scripts that had an asterisk but there were no scripts in the box so not sure what to do here? Well I am finally learning how to use the map part of the editor at least...

You need to open up the AI Fleet script file.

Scripts won't appear in that box until all have been successfully updated, but if you click on Open/Edit at the bottom left, it will open up and you can start working through it.

Hi Bill that fixed it thank you guys for the help in learning the map editor!

This was the final thing I was trying to figure out?

I guess what I am trying to understand is why do some blockade runner hexes show up on map in the editor and some do not? But none show up in the game on turn one? I'm assuming these are all events and it looks like Galveston gets a blockade runner event? So if that is the case all I really need to do is move the Mobile one down one hex away from the new Fort Morgan but cannot figure out how to do this since it is event related? When I place one in the editor it shows up on turn one in game unlike all the others...
