Air raids and LCU fatigue/disruption

Post by Yaab »

In some air raids, an LCU suffers no destroyed/damaged devices, however it registers added fatigue/added disruption.

Is the added fatigue/disruption due to non-penetrating bomb hits that happen off-combat record or a simple a function of an air raid (unit disperses/ suffers combat fatigue). Does dropping more bombs help or simply a mere instance of an air raid is enough to induce fatigue/disruption?

Fatigue isn't just from combat. If your sleep gets constantly interrupted or you have to dash several hundred yards to a foxhole or trench you are not getting rested.
But fatigue and disruption contribute to eventual combat ineffectiveness which will show as disabled squads. And if enough men are lost the disabled squad can be considered destroyed. If there are a few men left from that squad they probably get added to other squads, even if they are combat ineffective.

Not to mention the issues when someone jumps into a slit trench which other people have used as a latrine!

Note that disabled parts of units are more prone for destruction too.

Disruption and fatigue increases chance of being disabled.
