Placeholder. Doesn't do anything right now.

Hello. I'm trying to download 1.09 Beta 1859. However, when I click on the link in the Matrix Games forum, I don' t get any response. What's the problem?
Usually downloading and installing updates from the MG website is straightforward, but 1852 gave me a lot of trouble, and this one just won't respond.
Need help. Thank you.

Its probably your browser safety settings?

Edge was weary - the safe download settings decided the Beta was "scary" and kept saying it cannot be downloaded safely - Quick search on how to override it should cure it and you can also set Matrix as a trusted site to be a more permanent fix.
Right click then KEEP etc

*Chrome was being weary as well but I resolved Edge first.

I have navigated the download issue many times. If you don't want to change any settings, right-click on the link and choose open link in separate window. When the new window opens, just click on the URL in the address box then hit enter. Your browser might still throw up, but will give you the option to keep it anyway.

I have some feedback to offer on the newly implemented formation manager on the latest public beta build (The thread is locked so i cannot reply to that one)

(This is mostly copy+pasted from discord where i initially made the suggestion:

This is the current implementation of the [Formation Editor] UI
Image

Its an amazing change, however, i have a suggestion that i think would improve the UX, as currently i can only reset both the ships bearing and range but not one or the other. I think it should be possible to do either. The problem is, manually refilling everything makes for a more labor intensive experience in the simulation interface if you're the type to carefully approximate the formations since drag&drop is very useful for moving an object from one location to the next, but terrible for getting the exact proper placement since the human hand isn't capable of precise movement like arrow keys on a keyboard would be.

So i understand that screen real estate is a consideration, but I think this is a much better improvement,

Now, i have the flexibility to move units across the formation through every dimension without worrying about losing bearing or range if i still want those to stay in the default value range. Imagine the workload this could cut out if you have dozens of formations to calibrate?

To go alongside this, i highly suggest making the units selectable and movable with the keyboard arrow keys for more granular control over their placement

Just out of curiosity, why would you bury it here?
