NGT 4.97 update:

You can see readiness status of all ground & air units in your OOB with a color-coded readiness pip. For ground units, it will also show you number of troops, guns, AFVs, etc, and total that for each parent unit. Additionally, you can add planned units (future reinforcements) to your task organization, and they will show with a dashed border. You can toggle on/off visibility of planned units. Lastly, you can save and export your OOB so you can load into other campaigns. If there's discrepancies in the load file and the new campaign, it will highlight them for you to resolve without failing the whole import.

The training chart has an error. 'Naval bomb' skill is not in play at 1000 feet; that level is for Low Naval attack.

Thanks. I’ll make the fix.

NGT 5.38 adds:

You can create an Air Tasking Order for each mission type. It will evaluate the mission parameters and enemy situation and provide you an outcome assessment. If you have multiple mission types targeting the same base, it will combine them into an Air Tasking Plan so you can prioritize your missions (e.g. recon --> sweep --> strike --> recon (BDA). As intel is gained through combat reports, it will update the assessment.

You can also see how much combat power (AV) in a radius from any given base.

NGT 5.59 adds and improves some features, including some requested administrative functions.

Just as you can build your own campaign and operational plans, you can also do the same for enemy courses of action (ECOA). ECOAs can be grouped into operational plans if you believe they are linked. You can select from a number of templates. NGT will also track enemy units likely a part of that ECOA. It will also help build an intelligence plan so you can confirm/deny the ECOA.

NGT will alert you when bases have shortfalls in supply/fuel and if there's no inbound convoy for resupply.

J2 now also a technical intelligence catalogue that compares enemy and friendly air, naval, and ground assets.

In a future update of NGT, if you have a Claude or Google API key, you can log into Staff Duty Officer and have a LLM assistant. The SDO will only read what's visible to you in NGT, and it provides a list of what records it can read.
