Nope, the Japanese expansion is pretty much over. The Allied war machine is kicking into high gear now and I will be transitioning to the strategic defensive.CaptBeefheart wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 3:28 am I only see sadness on that map.
Is NZ next? CONUS?
Cheers,

That is a LOT of resources, supply, fuel, and oil if you are transporting it back to HI (I assume you have been). How big is your economy right now. If you use tracker, can you post a screenshot of the WitP Chart? Thanks!!!DesertWolf101 wrote: Mon Aug 24, 2026 12:43 am The War Continues - January 1944
This is a first - Japan has fully secured all of India and all of Australia. This however marks the full extent of the Japanese conquest and from now on it's all about keeping the Allies back as 1944 rolls on.

The economy is doing very well. I don't think I will run out of anything really before the end of the game.
Agree with all of these. George/Frank/Sam are always CRITICAL aircraft for me. Dates are consistent with what I get as well. I also work the Grace model as well.DesertWolf101 wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2026 1:08 pm Aircraft R&D Program
A key factor behind the very successful campaign is a well organized aircraft research program. Here are some of the program's key milestones:
N1K1-J George - January 43 (excellent all around workhorse for the IJN)
D4Y4 Judy - February 43 (800kg a deadly threat to enemy BBs)
J1N1-S Irving - May 43 (Very helpful in countering early enemy 4E night strikes)
Ki-84r Frank - July 43 (Secures air superiority against the Allies into 1944)
Ki-67-Ia (T) Peggy - August 43 (Dramatically expands overall Japanese anti-ship capabilities)
B7A2 Grace - October 43 (Very versatile strike weapon for land and sea deployment)
A7M2 Sam - February 44 (Critical airframe required to compete with Allied carrier fighters into 1944)
A dozen late war airframes are also in development and making very good progress.

Ki67T ... how do you train pilots in advance for this, or do you have to wait for the plane to arrive and then train the pilots?

Yeah, not much else to do ....DesertWolf101 wrote: Wed Aug 26, 2026 2:50 pm What I do is I train IJA pilots on NavB as a secondary skill which also raises their experience, and so when the Ki-67 T arrives they transition to Torpedo training and are quicker to graduate with higher skill/experience.
Well, I know I spend a lot of effort "hunting" allied convoys, and I kill all that I can. The main reason I do it is because they are permanent VP's. The second reason is that killing troops is easiest before they arrive.DesertWolf101 wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2026 7:55 am Cargo ships - Are they turly limitless for the Allies?
With over 2,000 ships of the xAK type (and variants such as xAKL, AK, AKA, etc.) comming into service during the war, one would think that the Allies would effectively never be short of them. That is not entirely true however. In this campaign I've sunk approixamtely 800 of the type and it's just January 1944. In fact, the Allies currently have significnatly less operational cargo vessels than they have lost. All that to say, even the most common vessel type in the game can theoritically be made scarce under the right circumstances.
