Flotation damage only repaired, can only work on one ship at a time.

Can Japan have ship withdrawals?
Then you could model the Bordeaux runs, must sail to on map location, no enemy air superiority, minimum damage.
1. Thats a good idea. I've been debating how to do model them.
2. Not sure if Japan can have ship withdrawals. I'll check

Type-NLT tankers have an conversion option to Ditmarchen AO, I assume that is not intended.

Type-NLT AO and Type-1 TL AO classes are missing upgrade options, compared to the Shiroteko-class AO that has two possible upgrades with the last one gaining a radar.

Happy to help, I like the design of this mod and NGT very much.

Is there anything specific you want people to look for when playing?

Tsukushi-class could be more accurately represented by Shimushu-class without DC and carrying a Glen if possible.

In game the G8N1 Renzan is a 2 engine aircaft with service rating 5,I assume not intended.

These tankers are missing from the Allied database, can either add them to that side or give them as incentives to Japan for those locations.

TK Choran Maru ex-Ruthenia (in Japanese database) was captured in Singapore,
TK Enoshima Maru ex-Ebonol(in Japanese database) was refloated in Hong Kong,
TK Hosei Maru ex-Poseidon (in Japanese database) was refloated in Tjilatjap.
TK Yosei Maru ex-Josefina (in Japanese database) was refloated in Soerabaja.

If the intent is to give options to the Modified Circle 5 Plan that came after Midway then allowing the second Ōyodo-class CL Niyodo should be an option, she was to be built in the same slipway after Ōyodo was lauched.

Same with the second Ibuki CA, likely name was Kurama and the Ikoma-class CV would have been Kaimon instead.

Major limitation of the engine is that Yamato and Musashi take a lot of yard space at game start even if they had been launched.

I understand it is an abstraction but partly it is not, you could build 2 Unryū CVs where you build 1 Yamato BB, at least that was the plan in Yokosuka when they considered cancelling Shinano.

Thanks for the support! To answer your 'intent' question below, it's to provide (1) as much detailed accuracy as possible within the engine's abstractions/limitations, and (2) realistic options to shape the military forces; e.g. choices that were historically considered. As far as things to look for - nothing specific, every bit helps.

Akashi-class repair ships Mihara and Momotori where cancelled August 1943 so could well be an option.

CS Mizuho should have floatplane capacity of 24.

CS Nisshin had 12 floatplanes and 6x14 cm/50 3rd Year Type naval guns.

Surprised you went so far with Yamatos as give her at the historical date, I was thinking you would damage her and Musashi to be fitted out or something.
¨
Maybe lower the crew experience? Shinano has 65/50, that seems about right.
I am a bit worried about allied reactions, Force Z aint what is used to be for sure. :D

EDIT. With the old BBs at 60/65 =50/55 for new BBs would be logical?

3. The Southern Army Assuming Command and the Employment
of Its Air Arm

The Chain of Command of the Air Arm of the Southern Army

The Southern Army Headquarters Was Provided with the Trappings of an Air Corps
Headquarters

As mentioned previously, for committing the main force of the Army Air Service to the southern operation it was, in view of the vast operational front, natural to assume that two or more
numbered air forces would be necessary.
As the strategic value of the air arm increased, the tendency in military aviation at that
time was to employ it in a way as concentrated as possible so as to bring its special qualities
into full play. In order to employ two or more numbered air forces in a unified way, it was
natural to set up a headquarters [on the level of] an air corps (later: air army) as the higherranking headquarters. However, at that time, there was only one air corps headquarters,
which was in Manchuria, and in terms of [the Army’s] policy against the North, it was impossible to transfer this headquarters [to the South]. Moreover, the number of commanders
and staff officers familiar with aviation was too small to establish a new air corps headquarters, let alone that it usually required some time before a newly established headquarters
could fully function.
In the end, it was decided to adjust the composition of the Southern Army headquarters
so that it could also serve as an air corps headquarters.
The main points were to put in a [second] vice chief of staff exclusively in charge of the air arm, and set up an independent aviation
section, which would comprehensively deal with the operations, intelligence, rear [support]
and facilities related to the air arm. The main purpose was to employ the air arm in a way
that suited its specific nature.(39, 91)
A Southern Army headquarters with an aviation specific function had already been in
preparation since October. On 5 November, General Terauchi Hisaichi was personally appointed commander in chief by the Emperor, and the formation of his headquarters was completed on the 13th of the month.
