Quiet before the storm. My carriers didn't reach Java in time - that battle is over. The next few weeks will be more quiet as my ground troops work to capture Malaya, Java and the Phillipines. I will also launch an invasion of Rabaul. I have no recon of Chunking at this time - don't want to wake the Chinese unless I have to. He probably knows what's going on by now, but hopefully it should be too late for him to hold the city.

Hmmm landing early on Java .....I bet you wish you hadnt given me 4 months to fort up in our game sveint

At this stage landing in Java to stop an Allied build up I would be tempted to take the pain and land straight over the beaches at Batavia or Soerbijou.

Yes you will hurt but siezing that all important large port is in mu opinion vital especially as the allies cannot be strong in Java at this stage units are disabled and you are not facing the full Malaya Army Gp or SW Pac reinforcements so I would take the pain and land straight at one of the major ports.

Kragen and any of the lvl 1 ports are rough as yes you can get ashore but building up supplies for an offensve takes a long time,
