That makes a few Japanese transports turned into scrap metal. Are there a lot of Japanese troops in New Caledonia yet?

Just wanted to let you guys know I love the AAR. The back and forth is great and I love how you both explain your rational for your actions. You are both more aggressive then I am in general and it's good to see how others play it. Keep up the good work!

It has been very very quiet lately. Mogami has been working on capturing the rest of DEI (Palembang still holds out).

But to my surprise he hasn't given up on Noumea!

Hi, Yes it is pretty strange. I bombed Noumea with TF containing 4 BB and did not hit the airfield at all. I bombarded it repeatedly to no effect (not 1 airfield hit or damaged AC) then I send a small TF to check for enemy shipping and it rocks the airfield. ([X(])

Where did you get the idea I was finished with Noumea?

Here is the situation in New Caledonia. I'm reorganizing the submarines (so it doesn't matter if Mogami sees this). If I were him I'd be trying to evacuate but... seems he's dead set on taking the island. I'll be happy to fight over it - I don't have the capability to go on the offensive until I get Essex CVs but I sure can defend.

Also coming up next turn... a big surprise!

Hi, I had to wait for airfields to build. Noumea is where the war will be decided.
I will expend every effort to capture it. (I intend to fight it out there even if it takes all summer)

Hi, ALl I will say about China is, If the Japanese destroy another Chinese Army they are going to advance to Chungking. Get back on your side of the RR or I'll do something you regret.
I have no plans to try to win the war in China but I won't let the Chinese push me around.
