How many threads must be locked..............

Gary Grigsby's World At War gives you the chance to really run a world war. History is yours to write and things may turn out differently. The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

I mean if I get run over 4 days from now at least with DD I could have played GGWAW as my final moments on the planet:)
Funny you should say that, i'll be 43 next month and after losing my Mother and Brother to cancer the last couple years my doctor insisted on a full blood panel during my visit last Friday to check for...cancer[8|]. The first thing that popped into my mind was "damn, what if WAW doesn't come out before i'm too sick to care?"[:(], then i thought about the kids...could they afford WAW without their Dad?[&o][;)]. Yes the dd would be nice for me, but seeing that i didn't get that "call" today before 6PM PST (-amen-) i guess the 28th or so ain't so bad after all[:D]. I would have hated to have to take my business elsewhere and buy WAW off of Ebay[:'(][;)].

Sorry to hear that. Hope things go well with your tests. Yes, we do have our priorities:)

Quick Matrix, sell me the game before it's too late. The hell with retail...time is too precious:)

Just kiddn:)

I applaud Matrix's business decision to encourage retail purchases and I will be supporting them by buying the game at either BestBuy or CompUSA. Of course, this isn't an altruistic act ... I want more grognard games! The more folks who trial a WAW game, the greater opportunity to bring a few of those folks to the darkside. With a larger market, there's greater incentive to design games for grognards.

Besides, I still need to finish reading the last of the "Origins of World War Two" books on my reading list. Bell, Taylor, and Offner are completed ... Iriye's book is next. Oh, then there's the "Taylor revisited" book...

I think the part about "direct downloaders" being the "loyal customers" is a bit far fetched, there were many people buying Matrixgames long before digital download that are retail loyal customers as well. I for one don't think either should have an opportunity to get the game until the opportunity is equal for both types of "loyal customers". ;)
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?
