ORIGINAL: Speedy
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Air attack on Kunming , at 39,33

Japanese aircraft
A6M3 Zero x 27

Allied aircraft
P-40B Tomahawk x 9

No Japanese losses

Allied aircraft losses
P-40B Tomahawk: 1 destroyed, 1 damaged

This P-40, having seen the Zero coming, meerly kept up an high IAS and dived out of combat. However on returning to the airfield, the plane struck a goose and had to make a forced landing in a paddy field.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Air attack on 16th Naval Guard Unit, at 38,37

3 x SB-2c bombing at 8000 feet
3 x SB-2c bombing at 8000 feet

Highly successful raid against an enemy airbase. Japan is short of trained mechanics.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Air attack on 8th Chinese/A Corps, at 50,28

Japanese aircraft
Ki-51 Sonia x 18

No Japanese losses

Allied ground losses:
11 casualties reported
Guns lost 1

Aircraft Attacking:
10 x Ki-51 Sonia bombing at 2000 feet
8 x Ki-51 Sonia bombing at 2000 feet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scratches only. Boo boo's bandaged and sprayed with bactine

Day Air attack on Port Moresby , at 53,91

Japanese aircraft
A6M2 Zero x 57

Allied aircraft
Wirraway x 4
Kittyhawk I x 12
P-39D Airacobra x 13

Japanese aircraft losses
A6M2 Zero: 1 destroyed, 2 damaged

Allied aircraft losses
Wirraway: 3 destroyed
Kittyhawk I: 2 destroyed, 3 damaged
P-39D Airacobra: 5 destroyed, 2 damaged

Well here we see a 2:1 kill ratio vis a vis the P-40 and Zero which while clearly incorrect is not too far out of wack (it should always be 1:1 or better in favor of the P-40...statistics prove this)

The P-39D was a Zero's worst nightmare at low altitude. However in this case, the P-39's were caught while in a landing pattern.

3 x Ki-21 Sally bombing at 17000 feet
3 x Ki-21 Sally bombing at 17000 feet
4 x Ki-21 Sally bombing at 17000 feet

What can be said....GG is obviously an Axis Fanboy like Speedy who relies on ancedotal information instead of hard statistcal facts from acredited sources.....were they to unchain themselves of these delusions they would know that those P-40's should have masacred those Zeros and taken down at least a dozen Sallies....which are known to explode on contact.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Air attack on Port Moresby , at 53,91

Wirraway: 3 destroyed
Kittyhawk I: 8 destroyed
P-39D Airacobra: 5 destroyed, 3 damaged

Bravely battleling against overwhelming odds...the brave defenders of PM take out 3 more irreplacable Sons of Heaven.....Sakai finally sees a P-39........just before it blows up him and his Zero.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Air attack on 21st Division, at 38,37

Allied aircraft
P-40B Tomahawk x 26

A few less Japanese mechanics......the inadequate Japanese logistics systems should be breaking down soon...or it would....if the game wern't broken......

The picture displayed by Axis Fanboy Speedo has clearly been altered. I will post the corrected version soon. Victory will soon be mine
