what do ya want? I'm waiting for him to come up with an overly ambitious, complex plan that spreads around his strength and allows me to set up an ambush that is so devious he'll think he's winning till the last possible moment when suddenly i'll turn the tables on him and then his carriers will be sunk and i'll regain the initiative.

Its foolproof.

After your long tirade about how dangerous your mod makes attacking at 6000', that might be iffy. But I'll try to beat up on him at SP, and maybe distract him a bit...

i was kidding. Its as safe to bomb my defended airbases at 6000 feet as it is in my game with Kaiser.

2 big days of combat over PM and Mandalay.

I won over Mandalay, Nik did over PM.

At Mandalay Nik sent Buffalo's escorting Liberators, Wellingtons, Blenheims and Hudsons. Losses:

1 x Zero
1 x Sally

12 x Buffalo's
12 x Hudson's
7 x Blenheim's
4 x Liberator's

Over PM the battle was intense, very intense. I attacked over 2 days with roughly 60 bombers escorted by 50 Zero's. Nik countered with 25 x P40E's, 15 x P39's, 10 x Kittyhawk's.

Over 2 days the following was lost:

35 x Zero's
4 x Sally's
4 x Betties

16 x P40E's
11 x P39's
10 x Kittyhawk's

Total losses over 2 days amounted to 50 x Japanese vs 80ish Allied planes.

Not as bad as you may think. In this scenario Japanese pilot training is enhanced as such I get something like 50 IJN a month and 100 IJA a month. I still have several trained pilots for both IJA and IJN.

PM will be an addition to the moon by the time I finish with it I assure you

I will do tonight. Its not pretty reading for Nik. For example; shipping losses are something like this:

Allied: 62 ships lost

Japanes: 1 ship lost

No major capital ships IIRC, apart from a couple of Aussie CA/CL's the rest are AP/AK/TK/MSW/PG/SS mainly from pranging Brisbane and wiping out his convoy a few days ago

IJN replacement rate has been reduced to 25 pilots per month and IJA rate has been reduced to 40. The IJN pool starts the 42 scenario with 500 pilots.

early warning is really helping the P40's stay competative with the veteran Zeros. The last turn was probably their best preformance yet.

Only major action was Nik trynig to bomb Lae with Forts from Australia. My Elite pilots took care of them. 6 vs 0.

Oh yeah. I also hit an AK with 2 torps. I doubt she'll make it.
