Stalingrad won't fall and it looks like Gorki will be at SL 4 on Dec 7. You'll have to endure at least 2 turns of blizzard. If the Soviets recapture Gorki on either Dec 7 or 14 you can't win before summer '42...
The question, of course, is how many Russian divisions are left in a fighting condition.
Well, is seems you were right. There was a week of blizzard (16th Nov) what stopped Wehrmacht totally. The Soviets even managed to shatter armored corps.
But the following week was snowy and the Germans put everything at stake. Result is Gorki is seized, but Stalingrad remains Soviet. Both Novorossisk and Maikop are taken as well. It seems all factories in Saratov are burned since when I bomb the city there is nothing to aim at.
If there is one more week of good weather I'll have to take Stalingrad and reinforce and entrench Gorki area. If I can hold it for 4 weeks the game is over.
First campaign:
The Germans managed to break a front line near Leningrad but fortunately they were stopped. Southern they performed an excellent armored raid, seized Rzhev but, afraid of blizzard, withdrew.
Smolensk remains Soviet and the Germans haven't tried to recapture it.
Dnepr line southern to Mogilev was restored and Soviets even crossed it. Southern to Kiev the Red Army attacked on Dec. 30th hoping the next week weather would worsen. They repulsed weak Reich's allies and even bridged southern Bug (Buh).
In the meantime some bombing took place: the Soviets performed several sorties against Fw-190 factories in Vienna, Budapest and Leipzig, while Germans bombed Soviet heavy industry factories in many cities.
On Dec. 7th weather turned into blizzard. The Winter Storm counteroffensive has already been launched!
