I've always wanted to get the series, but unfortuneatly don't have the time to play board games, or anyone to play them with. I'll probably pick them up though, they look pretty good. Their Plan Orange game isn't sold anymore though, so I guess I'll have to make do with mine [:D]

Avalanche Press' War Plan Orange is set in 1930 and only covers the waters around the Phillipines.

Their War Plan Black scenario is similar to the one you discuss--lots of High Seas Fleet goodness in the Carribean [8D]

War Plan Red is set in the early 1920s--the map covers the US East Coast, from Newfoundland to Bermuda.

War Plan Gold is just coming out--it covers war  with the French in the Carribean.

Most of these have all sorts of "what-if" ships, which is their primary attraction I  think.

No definate answer yet. Right now I'm working on the addon/scenario pack, containing the French, Russian, and maybe German navies, 30+ new aircraft, a redone transport system, and somewhere between 8-12 new scenarios. Since a good portion of it is focusing on new planes and the historic aircraft carriers (in addition to even new never were battleships, hypothetical cruisers, and such), I'm calling it "War Plan Orange: Twilight of the Gods".

RJW would be possible, War Plan Black would be interesting, but finding a reason for the Germans to fight in the Pacific rather than the Atlantic is difficult. The best idea I've come up with is where Britain and France are defeated in 1917, and the German Hochseeflotte is deployed to protect the original German Pacific bases, plus newly ceded French possesions. Then, with war in say 1922 or 1923, it should be plenty of time for what if German battleships.

But right now, an expanded 1920s database is first on the list, then we'll go from there.

War Plan Red, with an expansion of Crimson, and elements in the Pacific [Australia was Pink, India something else]. Now that would be cool.
