Now, I'm sure that's mispelled, or maybe it's a cultural thing, like colour........or dodecahedron.

Nik WiTP is not a TACTICAL game. As such I had ZERO control on whether that carrier would meet 2 of your Dutch subs. Think again buster

Having seen your KB coming, i set up the screen that intercepted you. My plan was brilliant. I am smart. I make things go.

Hi all,

Another 2 days pass in our war...........

Both Manila and Sing are once more bombed from a high altitude by the IJA. Flak is still terrible (many losses over the 2 days). Singapore seemed a bit weaker flakwise though.....

KB was still patrolling around Jambi to cover the invasion. Men captured the empty place and are already advancing on Palembang..............

On Borneo the IJA stormed into Samarinda and took the place within hours rapidly ousting the Dutch defenders. Next stop Balikpapan (Nik don't worry fighters will be present above all the key locations when captured [:D])

Aircraft losses for the 2 days:

Allied - 5 (4 Swordfish from Palembang against KB)
Japanese 24 (23 by flak! Mainly above Sing and Manila)

Nasty flak there speedy .. dont use unarmored planes .. the sallys and helens are far better than lilys and the invaluable nells +betties.

my opponent is flying at 20-24k and loses a few planes a day .. no where near 23 mind you .. afaik

Hi Rob,

I don't have much choice at the mo. I have to supress Manila and Sing to reduce the supply to enable me to storm the place. Without the bombing it will take MONTHS. I can't afford that time. I don't have enough 'newer' types to replace the Lillies etc at the mo.

Nik has moved EVERYTHING back into both Sing and Manila = massive flak ammounts.

In effect i'm the Guinea Pig in this mod to aid in the future mods [;)][8D]

Yep...he is the willing GP. but its fun too...go on .....admit it.

Yes...the impact of a controlled withdrawl (avoiding costly forced retreat) combined with repair and replenishment of disabled items actually leads to the ENG units getting stronger which means more flak guns.

In the FAQ for the mod i did warn that the change was quote "very powerful" and that player restraint in regards to "mass stacking" should be exercised. Problem of course is that for PI and Malaya....your forced to stack, which is why i'm thinking that a OOB solution may be more in order here. However i did also re-adjust flak too for the next version.

I'd like to see a night attack on Sing to see the effect.

Avoid bases with lots of Japanese 4.7DP's There is a suspected error in the stock OOB on their values that was exaserbated by my mod making them "super" flak guns. Corrected in the next version.

Pffft. I know you would but I achieve more in the day and I need to starve your b*stards to make Phase 2 invasions.
