...please don't forget to check progression of players and teams as the seasons progress during franchise play. This is one area that every single edition of madden has messed up upon and can really hurt the long term playablitity of the game.

Basically, the overall (average) talent pool of the league (both on an individual and team basis) in year 1 should be the same as in year 8 or 10 or 12, etc.

I don't want to see all the teams in the league continually progressing nor do I want to see the defense, for example, progress faster than the offensive players. There should be a balance. Some teams should improve, some should decline, some players should get better, some get worse, but overall, maintaining an equilibrium of the league - otherwise, things won't be too pretty down the road.

Please have a look at this...EA doesn't get it, hopefully you guys do.
