Hi all,

The 7th and 8th March 1942 saw the largest daylight raids on Manila staged by the IJA so far in the war.

On the 7th over 100 Sallys attacked the arifield and support units causing heavy damage but also flying at 12,000 feet! I MESSED UP. Forgot to change the altitude back to 22K after the night ops.

Over the 2 days 35 bombers were lost over Manila. Nice one Speedy. Nice one[8|]

P.S Meant to also add that a British AK was wasted on the west coast of India. An I-boat found a huge convoy and hit the AK Montgomery City with 3 fish sinking her straight away. The escorts struggled to find the I-Boat which escaped with minor damage......

Hi all,

The SRA is weakening!

The IJA bombed Manila on both the 11th and 12th March 1942 with over 100 bombers in each raid. Still being wary of the Allied flak they bombed from 22K feet but only 3 planes were lost to flak over the 2 days and more damage was caused to the base. The Allies are weakening....death soon......errr captivity, sorry.

Also the first IJA raid from Palembang took place over Java on the 12th against the airfields at Batavia. NO enemy CAP was present and 7 enemy planes were destroyed on the ground:

Day Air attack on Batavia , at 19,59

Japanese aircraft
C5M Babs x 5
Ki-43-Ib Oscar x 11
Ki-21 Sally x 51

Allied aircraft
no flights

Japanese aircraft losses
C5M Babs: 1 destroyed
Ki-21 Sally: 8 damaged

Allied aircraft losses
CW-22 Falcon: 1 destroyed
Hawk 75A: 3 destroyed
Blenheim I: 1 destroyed

Allied ground losses:
1 casualties reported

Airbase hits 2
Airbase supply hits 2
Runway hits 4

Nik launched his usual bombing raids against the 33rd Division at Pagan.......

Banjarmasin on Borneo will soon be mine. IJA troops are 70 miles away. Betties from Balikpapan are providing CAS.

---------------

The weakening of the allies at Manila is reflected in the air losses for the 2 days: 9 each.

Below is an example of the IJA power on Luzon............

Intel reports show the 33rd Infantry division is close to mutiny having to endure all those bombing attacks while the inferior Zeros huddle in Rangoon.

BLASPHAMY...

and factually incorrect. Shattered Sword proved that the Zero sucked even as it was chopping Midway CAP fighters into mince meat. However the example was invalid because the Buffalos and Wildcats had alt advantage therefore it was not a neutral field of battle. Statistical analysis showed that the Americans were hitting home on their targets at a rate of 1.2 bullets : 1 Japanese bullet.

Your attempt to use logical and factual argumentation to prove your point is somewhat hindered by your avatar and general personality...
