Thanks for the work -

however -why can't we get this patch from the members section, and do it like every other one?
Im absolutely @#$%^&^% if I can figure this out or get it to work - all i get is PW exe errors - extracting, unzipping might be second nature to some, not to me .
Sorry -totally bamboozled>

please don't get me wrong -I just wish this was like all the other patches.
Game on hold for me Im afraid until I figure it out.

This is a quick release.
The normal Matrix process wasn't available to use due holidays.

We thought that you wanted it quick.

I'll tell Joe to delete it [:D][:D][:D][;)]

1275psi, this is not the usual type of patch which looks for where your game resides and patches it. This is a replacement *.dll and *.exe which you will need to overwrite the files in c:\Matrix Games\War In The Pacific Admiral's Edition. You're getting errors cause you are trying to run the exe NOT from the D:\Matrix Games\War In The Pacific Admiral's Edition folder.
Therefore:
Unzip the two files and then copy them into c:\Matrix Games\War In The Pacific Admiral's Edition
.. this will overwrite the two files and then you can start the game.

I hope this is clear enough, otherwise I'll do a step by step if you like [;)]

OK, thought I had it -now it asks for passwords?

I am trying to extract to file c:\Matrix Games\War In The Pacific Admiral's Edition -but it says the file is password protected -is that my members password, / my rego code or what?

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

07. Fixed some display issues caused by Transfer Ships.

There still seems to be a problem trying to get the bottom panel of the ship transfer in forming a TF to always work.
I have been playing around with it most of the day.
It is only happening with the release version. When I trace the program, it behaves.

What I have discovered is the following:
1. The issue is triggered by 'Manage repairs' screen. Once you call up that screen (even you press Done/Exit without doing anything else), the base 'Form new TF' doesn't want to work.
2. There doesn't SEEM to be any difference between the way the 'Form new TF' logically works between the base and the TF screens. There maybe some value buried elsewhere that is not being set correctly.
3. You can do a work around if it happens. This has worked for me while testing.
(a) Within the base screen, click on the "show" land or group icon
(b) Hit the back button without doing anything.
(c) Click on "Form new TF" and the ships should show up in the bottom panel.

Unzipping the file should not ask a password.
