I could click on the button for that location and have the display disappear and have the map center on that location.

Anyhow I found a work around:
1. Zoom out
2. Open the OOB screen and select the unit
3. Wave the mouse about the map. Once the mouse is with the movement range of the unit, the arrows appear and you have found your unit.

Also, remember that numpad 5 centers the unit on the map, for those using the keyboard.ORIGINAL: Meyer1
