I have some questions about the Unit Information Screen, but first the usual caveats: I did read both versions of the manual (old/new) and searched the forum with the built in search function and also using advanced Google search.
The picture below is from the manual (page 178, Revision 7-31-2022) and some of the information is not explained or not explained well. There are 4 questions I have, with the red numbers 1-4 on the picture showing the area in question.
- 1. What do the numbers in parentheses mean? Answer: Number of disrupted units.
2. The manual says: "The 56/72 indicates the total number of non-disabled (ready) and disabled elements
as a percentage of the units TO&E." The first number, 56, is obviously calculated by dividing the sum of the x numbers in the second column by the total unit TOE. But how is the second number, 72, calculated? Answer: First number is total of non disrupted units divided by total unit TOE. Second number is total of non disrupted + disrupted units divided by total unit TOE.
3. What does the "+" represent? Answer: From the manual page age 179 Revision 7-31-2022: "Also a + symbol next to a under-strength device indicates more of that device are in the pool. An “=” symbol indicates that the device can possibly upgrade from the pool. An ** indicates a weapon not allowing split units to combine."
4. Some units have an "*" (asterisk) here. What does that mean? Answer: The asterisk means the unit has an Upgrade Due.
5. Why is the "Attached To:" Unit sometimes selectable and sometimes not? Answer: "If it's not selectable it means that the Unit is Restricted [R], Temporarily Restricted (R), or Static [S]. Manual Page 175 Revision 7-31-2022.
