I don't know....and I'll tell you why.
The game is very, very, very, very....(you get the gist) indepth and so it's hard to know if what you are doing is right. For example, last night was my first go at it and I started the 1936 campaign as Germany. I started building coastal forts on my coastal areas...then realised this wasn't such a good idea...as I needed to produce soldiers. So I started some technology research (tactics, fighters etc) and set the system to produce some inf divs....I've made a *plan* that I want 13 Inf Divs and 7 Pnz Divs to attack France...but they are going to take so long to build!!
Basically, I have no idea what I'm doing...how fast I should be doing certain things...how soon I should be doing certain things....no idea whatsoever...so it's kind of hard to say "enjoy"
But I am going back to it tonight and I'm going to finish what I started....I guess, right or wrong, I'll learn how to play it.
Of course there is quite a good manual...but it's quite hard to read...and chapter/heading sections aren't that distinguishable from the rest of the document...so reading the manual will be "a little at a time" affair.
Sorry this has gone off topic....
I'm sure I will consider buying GG:WaW...but one thing I didn't like the sound of (and one thing that oulled me more to HOI2) was the fact that it's pretty much a "historical" affair in that you can't change the outcome....I mean, the Allies will always win...just in varying degrees whereas, apparently, it's quite possible in HOI2 to take Poland to European domination...or so I have gathered.
Anyway, as I said, my post wasn't meant to hijack the thread...so back on track...

Are you enjoying HoI2? It has made my wait for WaW effortless. [:)]
