Whenever I leave WITP-AE running (you have to eat, even when playing this great game!), I get a message that Virtual memory is low, and everything turns to glue. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Thanks Andrew. I now have copied the ART\Maps_official files. There are 23 files (WITN00 to WITN19 plus WITP00 and pwhex) in C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific\ART, and I also copied pwhex to C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific. I tried ModSelect but always get Andrew's 5X map.

Yes. WITN00 has no Maldives and WITN18 has no credits to Andrew.

Both folders appear to contain the official map files.

I backed up the official map during the first MODselect installation. But somehow I think I must have overwritten 1 or more files in the Art folder. There are some files labelled WITN in the art folder that may be the backed up map files.

I have Win XP so that should not be an issue.

I am unable to connect with the server to download SPWAW 8.4 (and also WITP 1.6). Apparently the problem is not at my end and I can download from other sitesOK. Can someone post these updates ata different site? The games are registered properly, and I have no problem accessing members forum.

For the past week I have been unable to connect to the server to download updates (specifically SPWAW and WITP). I used both Internet Explorer and Netscape; I have no problem downloading from other sites. Is anyone else having this problem?

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD update 1.6 for several days, using GetRight, but cannot connect to the server (web.matrixgames.com). Is the problem at my end? Is anyone else having problems?
